That said bearing in mind no-one raise folds with < 20bb's nowadays this is prob less relevant

Everything you said was pretty much spot on apart from this, raise folding 15-20bb is v effective.

Typically i 3x my opens pre antes, and 2.5x with antes.

3b size i tend to 3b 3x pre antes and smaller after the antes depending on my position.

This is back to front surely.

Raise more with antes less without.

very few people call junk with pot odds created by smaller raises - and if they do its a pretty bad spew

therefore if 2.5x is effective - then use it - obv means you are donating less if you have to fold

finally - if you are 3.5x or even 4x'ing - your competant opposition will think you are terribad - so dont do it!

in part you are more likely to be stealing - therefore number of attemts v's number of sucesses if fewer

eg

blinds are 1000 2000 200 10 handed therefore pot  = 5k pre

2.5x  = 5k
3x = 6k

at 2.5x only 1 in 2 raises needs to be sucessful to be break even
at 3x 2/3 needs to be successful (& will show a minor gain)

That said bearing in mind no-one raise folds with < 20bb's nowadays this is prob less relevant

however the smaller raise size is more relevant as people are more likely to be reshoving therefore you are less exposed

Yeah, this is spot on!! As when antes are in play a when we are less deepstacked so there is alot of going over the top.

I 2.5x it with antes unless im holding a monster i'll 3-3.5x hoping  someone goes over the top of me. Situational of course
