Yes, I know this lol. However, the way the hand plays out later on is directly related to the stupid flat call preflop by the guy who's hand it was (not mine lol), hence why I'm asking what you would do in this exact situation.

noone takes you for this big a hand now..get them all in the middle..and start up a new tourney whilst cursing yourself for calling on the button.
Either that or just fold it and curse at yourself for calling on the button.

the blinds are 15 30 and you've got 5k ish - are your only options really just all in or fold?

the blinds are 15 30 and you've got 5k ish - are your only options really just all in or fold? Not really, you could flat and fold the nasty turn. You could re-raise to 2k and then put your remaining 3k in on the turn when he flats your re-raise and checks to you on the turn. You could re-raise to 2k'ish and call or fold when he shoves his chips in the middle. I am thinking that flatting is not the best option here...you're probably ahead now...so raise to 2k ...call his shove and cry when you get done.

If we weren't capable of raising for value pre, how are we considering stacking off here with no reads/info or idea what a double pot sized cbet from utg means.
What i'm trying to say is in answer to your question if I ever had reason to flat QQ pre with these stacks i'd be folding the flop to this action without a better read.
RR PRE FTW.

But we would never be in this exact situation as we'd hopefully never be bad enough to play so bad pre

[ ] as played we should be looking to get all our chips in the middle.
SB leads for 3x the pot. who knows what he's got? i fancy that we're ahead of his range here (probably JT or something equally tez) - but MP calls for 3x the pot. alarm bells ringing yet? although its possible that he has the flush draw and is an absolute noob we surely have to give him respect for a set here and gtfo.
i fold
