3. Folk who pronounce J differently from me (Jai-rhyming with I, instead of Jay-rhyming with Kay) and insist that their way is the only correct one.

You won't get me to change!! J-eye sounds very camp, tbh. Jay is how you pronounce it.

Pet Hates? There's not much in life I hate, but plenty of things irritate me.

Automated Telephone Reply Services. Try ringing Travelodge to book a room, & listen in amazement to "if you want this/that/or the other, press 1/2/3".....

Ladies in shops & supermarkets who NEVER have the money ready, despite being in the queue for 20 minutes. Then tery go to all 17 compartments of their purse to find the right one. Then they pull out the coins 1 at a time...... And examine both sides of each coin.....

Registering at a Hilton Hotel. I'm fascinated by how many key presses they make in the computer. What ARE they doing? I just want a room!

Baseball caps worn backwards. Actually, that amuses me more than irritates me, particularly when done by "grown-ups". They think they look cool. I think they look plain daft by trying to look cool.

Asking for a meal - say fish & chips - & being given salad with it.

Woollen clothes. (They make me itch).

We bought the "Whoops", or out of date items for many years out of necessity, we still buy some because there is nothing wrong with them and we hate waste

Remember those less fortunate than yourself

Sorry, Red dog.

I too, buy the 'Whoops' items, hence being in Asda at the crucial 'Whoops' time (early evening).

I would have picked a prank on anyone that day  stirthepot   Sorry again mate

No probs, well said. Sorry if I was a bit quick to criticise but I always worry about the underdog (must be a canine thing)
