How can someone at an EPT final table make such basic errors?

Second hand and Terrazas the Spaniad raises to 180,000 at blinds 20k/40k playing a 540,000 stack and folded when two people shoved behind him.

He also made it 250,000 preflop at 25k/50k and then folded to a minreraise from Lapossie.
