Playing the NI Open weekly final on ladbrokes last night, the tourney itself was something of a disaster  for me (losing most of my chips early on holding AQ, then after getting back to playable level, losing them all holding the same hand). It was worth it for the following minor skirmish involving the Rookie's favourite hand.

I am on the button, and are dealt 4 7 o/s.

Two limpers, rest fold, back to me who raises to 200   (blinds are 25/50).

SB calls, everyone else folds.

Flop comes garbage. SB checks, I bet for 100. SB Calls

Turn comes . SB checks, I check.

River comes . SB bets for 100. I have absolutely nothing, but I sense his bet is weak. I reraise to 600.

He folds !!!

That kinda play could get addictive.
