These from last weekend's £220

15k starting, 40 minute clock

Day 1 hands, I would appreciate critique on any/all of them. Thank you

1.  in MP Level 2 50-100.

One limper. I make it 400.

Called by the button, limper folds

Hero 14,000

Villain 13,000

History with Villain, He thinks I am a rock, reasonably enough. I think he is a loose cannon, makes odd plays and overplays marginals a lot

flop  three diamonds

I lead for 800, called immediately

turn

check, quick check

river

I check, he bets 1100. Putting him on spades and betting a missed draw, I call

2. 200-400

Hero 23,000

SB with

Unopened, make it 1200

Stuart Hopkin in the big blind pushes for 7,475 more

I call

3. At 400-800 I am playing 30,000

Make it 2,200 unopened on the button with 8-8

We are playing six handed, as play nears the end of the day

Nirvana shoves for 19,000 instantly

I fold.

4. Now playing five handed at 400-800. Folded to me in small blind with 26,500

look at 3-3

Make it 2,200 into a young but so far tight, ABC player's, BB

He calls

flop J-9-4 rainbow

I lead for 3,300

He calls

turn 8

I check fold to a turn bet.

Looks pretty good to me Tighty though I haven't got any background reads on Nirvana or Stu.

Number 2 is my favourite as we clearly are going to put a 5 in Stu's eye.

Getting it in pre with a pair bvb less than 20 bigs against anybody who has a clue, seems pretty standard to me.

1. Don't c-bet flop, and don't call river.

2. Call is fine.

3. Call here too.

4. As played fine, although I may just make it up from SB here.

1. probably check flop back. As played some draws missed but he could also have 78s which just got there witha pair or could be pot controlling an middle pair, its close but probably a fold but don't hate a call

2. i'd call, you have a pair BvB
3. I'd call this most times for sure, without a ninja read that he was super tight
4. seems ok, not sure whether i would c-bet though

In that case this is probably a fold.

1.

Fine. Maybe c-bet a little less, 600 or so. Depends on your c-bet sizing so far tho.

2.

Limp from SB. Shove over a raise. Your 55 is prob good, but we're usually not thrilled to get it in here.

3.

Don't really know the player? Folding is prob just about ok... are there antes?

4.

Again, limp from SB. Stops us being OOP with an underpair.
