Making a light call

12 remain in a Live MTT, 5 paid. Final table average is 50,000
blinds are 1000-2000, 6 handed table
Button has 44,000
Small Blind 37,000
Button limps into an unopened pot with
. Aggro image, stabbing at a lot of pots.
Both blinds complete. Both blinds are tight. Often very tight, though the SB is more "TAG with a few moves"
flop
Checked to button, 6,000 in the pot. Bets 5,000
SB immediately check-raises all in
Back on the button, do you call here?

an aggro button open limps the button with K2???
some times i might check behind flop but as played i probably call as draws, Jx and other weak kings could be in SB's range.
Either way i wonder why i just played the hand as I did.

No, doesn't matter who it was for the purposes of this thread. Especially if it was me.

Limping the button with K2 is terribad, getting in situations by doing things like that deserve to send you broke! Sorry if it was you Mr End.
As played, might aswell flip a coin and decide whether they have a King or a draw.

50p
But yeah, blinds the way they are I don't mind a call here. Lots of draws are going for the c/raise. Or even a J or K. If you have an iPhone then download the coin flip app and use that to decide whether to call or not. If you don't have an iPhone then just call.

You have the second nut backdoor flush draw! Insta-call!
I think it is a call, but as mentioned, it's up to you if you want to gamble on them having a King or a draw. If you want to gamble, go for it!

A lot of the time I would call with the K2, some ways to win probably even if behind. No one has shown any strength pre. And, I hate being check raised so much that I would rather be trapped than pass a lot of the time

Why wouldn't the button call? His image is aggro and he's taking "lots of stabs" so it's an easy shove for the tight image sb who has "some moves". Limping with K-2 is plain horrible. But now you've got yourself into the mess you thoroughly deserve. Only calling and completing the perfect spew is acceptable imo. I think Tighty was sb and I think sb should have got his moves into gear pre-flop.

Why is that you don't want to raise again?

Shurley shome misunderstanding ! Alls I said was, as played, I would call SBs shove a lot of the time.
Pre in this situation I might pass the K2 or maybe raise the rocks but I wouldn't limp

Pretty much this.
What's light about a pair of kings given this action?
Oppo almost definitely on some kind of draw.
Snap his arms off.
Oh and pass pre. This hand is bad. When it hits this hard though with this action it's awesome.
