Lol the funny thing about this hand was after Wadey won it three other players at the table sat there commenting 'Great call Wadey, fantastic call...'
Now I will bet you £1000 that had Wadey lost the hand those same players would be saying 'I can't believe he's called off his tournament with K5, after two all-ins, what a terrible play'.
Well, Wadey called for value after correctly assessing that Poulton would be isolating with a wide range, including A9 like he said. Was his call correct? Its a bit more complicated than just sticking it in Pokerstove, because Wadey can improve his chances of moving up the pay ladder by folding here. We need to use an ICM calculator....

Wadey sure was thinking about the above, they were suited and one of the cards was above a 10, "Im going to have to call you boud".

So if u think his play is correct calling there because he is so short then why has player not shipped his 5x stack in b4 the BB has reached him, we had nt played many hands at the final by any means, but had more than 1 oppurtunity to get it in 1st. Still thinking this play is horrendous, and yes I was rather surprised when seat 1 ( old man-with no bigger stack than K5 player) opened his mouth to say "good call". Needless to say I shove 67suited middle position wit 7x and run into K5 players KK, so busto 8th. Long drive home 4 a donkament

If he has blinded away trying to scrape into the prizes then he has got what he was trying to achieve.
Personally there is no way to play but ftw so I would never let myself get that short. Unless I just got my stack in and that wast the change.
If though, you put me in that seat at that point, I ship my 5 bigs in with a one hand in the air about to do the banana dance.

Don't you think he said that because he had just laddered a spot ?
