Should have walked away with some easy chompy crushing points last night...but on a dry brd i couldn't give up the bullets to some big action.... roll on sunday..

quite liked this..arrived very late..10 mins to break...my table was apparently quiet with only 4 rebuys...A Q  & 4 2 diamonds later and i started an avalanche of 3-5k pushes with feck all lol....there were mountains of chips on our table at the break...think some guy had circa 60k !

[ ] he made the final..

Seb got moved to my right to join calling station and sebs younger brother...all of them liberally creating numerous 25k pots between them at 100-200 LOL
Seb is class imo..ordered a ham sandwich..30 seconds later he calls in the general direction of the waitress...'Ham sandwich?' she gave him a blank scary stare

NO! she announced and huffed off...every time she breezed past.... 'Ham Sandwich?' was the call .. my kingdom for a ham sandwich ?...not tonight Josephine..

You bust with one pair? Deary me..

Different time different situation...and still wrong...

Just seen the results.

Shan Jing Su won on Wednesday and on Thursday. Second on Monday too. Some week he's having!

Is this the little chinese kid?

hmm....had 8 bb and twice limped utg with things like 9 10 o/s.....also flat called flop & turn  for 90% of his stack and nearly folded the river...

judgement is reserved..

Updated up to and including Fri 2 October

It's a new dawn, a new day, a new month, a new leader.
Young Alexander Martin, online whizz, last night only went and managed to defeat a final table comprised of MDD, Luther Handdross and RUHolding to bink the big prize. GG.
He's +ev orbited the entire field to jump to the top of the table.

Judgement certainly is reserved imo. Blinds 200-400, one early limper, he bumped it up to 3600. Everyone folds and he proudly turns over king king.
Not sure he can go in the 'Banksy, Greg Symons bright young thing' category just yet innit.

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed last night's tournament, it was truly a unique experience         ........         a Blondeite League player on a Final Table (obviously he wouldn't have made it if Rockstar had bothered to turn up).

First time I've encountered Mr Martin, a very entertaining chap with plenty of almost Chompyesque moves up his sleeve    .....      almost, because unlike Chumpy he gets them through.

Down to the last three, and after Alex luckily outdrew my A 8 with his fishy A K (pffff these internet whizzkids need locking up, they're killing the game!) and took the chip lead, a deal was struck     .....       mainly because Phil Anderson was desperate to get home to finish building that Airfix Thunderbird II model he bought in the Woolies closing down sale last year.

Oh and the Diddy Tiddly is a nice kid but deffo needs a Mentor - someone who can take him onto the next level     .....       like explaining hand rankings to him.

Surely Alex should be 4/11 fav     .....      he's only got to extricate himself from the public bar of the Dog and Duck once in the next 28 days to take an unassailable lead in your League.

PS. Ask Glen (Nirvana?) to recount his carcrash - nay, motorway pile up - of last night       .......         funnier than when dear old Betty bashed his ringpiece - harder than a rampant Reggie Dwight - during a tournament in August!

Nah, it's all a bit more complex than that loofer.
Alex has to play a minimum of 25 tourneys by the end of December in order to qualify.
Including last night he's now played 14, so is actually still below Snat in real terms.
Every chance he will win it though imo.

No, no, much better than that...

The league winner will be picked up in Thomas Myland's truck and taken the scenic route to the Luton G, through Staples car park and past Duncan Banatyne's gym.
From there, he will enjoy the thrill of what it's like to take up two spaces in the car park, before walking past one of Bedfordshire's most stunning areas of natural beauty, the smoking cage outside the G. Here he will be heckled by the likes of Jim McBride, Megadong, Celtic and Luther.
Upon entry the league winner will be taken to the G's very own Italian restaurant, where he will enjoy some sort of stuff in some sort of sauce. The dry rice is optional.
A quick detour to the toilets later and our winner will be escorted to the poker room where he will be presented with his trophy by none other than Anthony Kendall.

Worth winning innit?
