I've never seen Ian not hammered when he's not been working at The Western.
Don't know whether he was drinking excessively at the final table but it prob wouldn't have made any difference; he was smashed when queuing up behind me to get in at half eight.
It's fine as long as he's not behaving badly at the table innit.
The delightful Lisa Marie shouldn't have to listen to that on a first ever live visit. It's hardly likely to encourage her back.

Xpressman eased he's relegation fears further with another seven points. I sense a late surge coming here. No savers done for eighth and ninth? What did Darvin do with my chips?

*Winkie, I've added another one in for last night. You also playing tonight? Let me know.

The following players still owe their November total please...

Gamblor
Pelham Boy
Dingdell

Whenever I have seen Ian (the ex dealer, not express) at the G he's been off his head.

However I think his swearing is much less likely to putt off new sky ladies returning than the almost constant dribble running down chompy's chin all evening.

I really enjoyed the Thursday tournament... can definitely recommend it to all those who don't generally go. The hefty rebuys that you are put plenty of chips in play, so there is still a lot of room for maneuver post-break.

Good to get a bit more familiar with some blonde faces too, my shortlist for my Fantasy team is narrowing...

Nice one Expresso; wp sir.
I see that the other Ian won it. Proof that drinking excessively whilst playing poker is the way forward.
Well done him (for both)

Well I had Chompster on my first table. Two places to my left (oh FFS!)
started nicely tho having limped with AA knowing that there was an aggy league elder lurking to my left. He raised (obv).
I insta shoved and mr w calls with QQ. First of chompey's many rebuys.
A short while later card rack alien gets kk and does the same. This time claw's QQ in the BB binks the river.
I wave goodbye to the 16k pot.
Last hand of the r/b period and i shove blind for 3.5k for a double up.
Chomps ponders (oops me thinks) then calls with AQ.
I announce that I havent looked and flip over one at a time......A........K.
I Double up, and chompy's 85th re-buy.

[ ] Chompy sure did believe that I hadn't looked.

Rest of evening was fairly dull. Just surviving.
Managed two double ups with Q6 shove vs Q3 (committed) caller in BB.
The board straights on turn for split. FFS
then I hit flush on river.
Then my JJ wins coinflip vs AK.
A run of crap cards and/or crap situations / positions results in me shoving blind when it is folded to me.
TK calls with QK soooted diamonds in SB and I flip over J5 (diamonds doh)
Drainy shakes TK's hand and leaves the card room.

The Other Ian Is A Nice lad and a Former Dealer at the G but when he has Had a Gut full Of 'Snake Bites' He is a Nightmare to play with .......Most of the hands he was going "All In" in the Final which was Frustrating after taking so long to get to the Final ...........you were having to wait to ponce on him when you got a Big Hand and then not get Unlucky ................But hey you pay your money and you Play how you Like ...........But i do think The G should have a Policy not to allow Players to drink excessively at the Tables during the tourney as constant F Words at the table is uncalled for and there were ladies playing in the Final ...............Just My Opinion ....

Oh, dooooooooo shut up      ....     you great big tart!
