LOL we had a classic bit of Grosvenor management when we were down for the APAT European thingy. Blatch is on the feeder table and both tables are playing one or two short of full when the management tell him he has to move. Blatch says he doesn't want to as he is having a good time at the table we were at. They refuse to budge and insist he has to move to which Neil replies if i move this table will close (never a truer statement was ever said tbh) they stick to their guns and the table is empty instantly.

It was also mentioned to G that part of cash is game/table selection and the must move rule takes that edge away from a player.

*** LUTON FAT BOYS CHALLENGE ***

Myself and Celtic are gonna be losing weight in the New Year for charrrrridy (1 January-31 March), the target being 50lb between the pair of us in those three months.

If the management at the G are OK with it we'll be sticking a charity form jobbie on the desk some time this week for anyone that fancies sponsoring. It'll prob be £XX.XX per lb, capped at 50lb.

As amazing as it was that Celtic beat me in the league this year, it's even more amazing that he weighs MORE than me. Esp as I'm 6'6" and he's 5'3".

If anyone else fancies joining us, let us know before Wednesday and we'll make it three ways.

Wiiiiiiiiiiii, Fat Fit Club is now FULL.
Snatty has become number three.
Sponsorship form will be deployed forthwith.

PS, thanks for the six PMs saying I don't need to lose weight. How many did you get in the end Celtic?

I'm interested in this Snat. I lost the weight I wanted to lose last year, and then for various reasons, I put it back on again.

I tried again this year, and after a few false starts I'm well on my way again, and this time I think I understand better how to keep it off. (Famous last words)

Must Move: The easy solution.

This is a cracking rule that Hinge and Bracket invoke any time it suits them and forget about any time it doesn't.

If you have a main game and a 4 player list, it is perfectly acceptable to start up a 2nd table and make that 2nd table a must-move table.  If you don't do this, you weaken the main game.  Once the second table is up and running, full, and with a waiting list, the game should immediately be called an independant game.  Future players are introduced into whichever game needs balancing (with existing players having the right to transfer) and both  tables can survive. So many times they have had 2 healthy games playing 6 or 7 handed on each table after a long period of 2 full games and then simply kill one game to fill up the other - madness.  In LV they will sometimes call a game a "must move for 1 hour" which gives the main game support, but the new game a chance to flourish.

when Hinge and Bracket are in town, they just look to see which player it is that they would be getting and decide whether they want to have a scream-up to make sure they get them.  They normally do.
