I've been on my healthy food thing for just over 2 weeks and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results up to now.

So far my waist has dropped from 38" to 36.5" which I'm pleased with. Still a bit to go but I'm well on the way.

I'm not overly bothered about my weight but in case anyone's interested it's gone from 16st 5lb when I started to 15st 13lb today.

Marbella birthday weekend is 2 weeks tomorrow by when I'm hoping to have a 35" waist.

I'm not sure if this is possible but I'll be giving it a good go.

Good going there Matt, I've been all over the show as I posted last night. Not eating at all for a day and a half after picking something up and when I have been eating it's not been ideally what I want. I couldn't even manage a protein shake yesterday which was rather annoying.

I've taken a punt on being ok for the weekend and booked my train tickets to head to Mr Blake's house Saturday for the football. On Sunday I'll be heading up with him to donate my £125 to the pot and if I'm lucky make level 2  and beyond Cheesy

When you do your weights do you breathe properly or are you one of the guys who hold there breath make their faces go read and look like they are gonna do some damage to their veins?

Second behind them I love the guys who do their reps super quick!

I always make sure I breathe properly.

I've managed to pop the occasional blood vessel squatting or leg pressing in the past though.

I was far more you than you are when I was your age so it's definitely possible.

Ridiculously lazy day today and training suffered as a result.

I had a lie in until after mid day which meant I'd not eaten much before training. I decided to do legs instead of chest so as not to impede the dumbell press challenge but in hindsight this may have been a bad idea.

For anyone who's not trained heavily before I can tell you that legs training takes it out of you more than anything else when done heavily and to failure.

I had to cut my last couple of excercises down to 3 sets each to make sure I didn't die.

I'd say I've learnt a lesson here but it's not like I didn't know anyway so I'll just have to get over it.

8.00pm - Dinner. Sunday dinner, chicken, stuffing, mash, veg etc... Not ideal for the diet but mum bought it round so I had no choice.

11.00pm - Protein bar.

Leg extensions, leg curls, leg press machine, calf raise machine.

I don't do any squatting because I can't go to failure without a spotter.
