7paid officially, but £100 off top and £50 off 2nd, to pay £50 each to 8th, 9th & 10th. I think league points will only go to 8th and 9th, which is a shame because Ian is in my team.

According to Thomas the prize pool was just under £4k, which would suggest around 52 runners. No official result, so I'll take that as being right for the time being. Ergo, 3pt bonuses to Lucky and Thomas, who finished sixth.

That's about the only bit of luck I had during the tournament. Just after the quads, I had Praz Bansi come and sit to my direct left. He immediately started 3-betting me, and I was just hoping our table would break up soon!

The only hand we did get to play till the river though, I called him down with 88 on a J9744 board, and was good. He's a real nice guy, and we discussed a bit of poker strategy, which was always good for me!

However, I did let Chompy get away with a 3 bet against me! That was the obvious low for my tournament.
