Finally an apology, to Dingdell. I am sorry if the banter went too far last night. I promosie it won't happen again until next time.
My three favourite Ding-isms of last night
1. "Can I have that Chicken salad thing please?
Valet "What chicken thing?
"The Salmon fillet please"
2. "Tighty, who came up with the idea that Ice can cool things?"
3. "Ooh, what was the name of that film,
Flight of the somethings
, you know the one where the little things fly and look like they are wearing dinner suits?"
Edna, Claw and myself try to get into the mindset....we bluff dwell
"Got it" cries Dingdell "Penguins!"
Good times.
Well done to the winning players and also congrats to binking Chompy who, if he applied himself, could actually learn to play poker. ;-)
It still amazes me that despite my history of dingisms throughout the years you allowed me to set up a mission impossible quiz at the BB. You only have yourselves to blame...
Good night especially as I was the target of a sycophantic Mr Webber who was in turn, winding Tighty up well.

Last night was one of those nights where playing at Luton is special
38 runners in the 30+20+10 and a veritable horde of leaguers present. Many concentrating on the "game within the game" of fantasy league points and rubdowns and, for Dingdell only, rub-ups.
Cutting to the chase, as the weary warriors emerged blinking into the cool dawn at 5am, with the birdsong cascading through the Luton landscape we had Chompy finishing runner up to Michael Bolton ahead of Boerwar in 3rd, myself in 4th, saver points for G-Man in 6th, and non points scoring finals for Rockstar and jonnyplum. That final was like a who's-who of this thread. With almost as many words too.
The result of all this was Chompy's 12 points taking our Venetian flip flopped follower of febrile fashion Mr Nirvana Henderson into a TIE for the £200 third place in the fantasy league with jonnyplum with two nights to go
Their respective teams are
‘Jonny’s Plums’ (D.Johnson)
Dave Johnson
Tom Myland
Dean Morris
George Michael
Ian Bradley
'A Glass Half Full' (G.Henderson)
Glenn Henderson
Adrian Gotch
Graham Wheldon
Gavin Kan
Tony Kendall
The actual result was a five way chop and to be fair to Chompy, looking ever more like Hannibal Lecter without the mask and with social skills to match, he did his best to engineer the win for Henderson but was comprehensively outplayed Heads Up. Unsurprisingly really as he had spent the previous four hours perfecting his one move, the all in shove from anywhere with anything with the portentous words of MDD no doubt ringing inside his shaved cranium. "Most of the time they can't call" and indeed most of the time they didn't, until they did, when he binked.
As I said at the start, great banter last night. I might be tempted to turn up more. Great value at £1m in FL2 if I do. Get those teams in! 17 so far
Also get your June totals in!

Quality .... I love Ding to bits
I'm surprised Ding's Vulchar episode on Saturday afternoon hasn't been mentioned yet ...... the feathered one arrived in alternate period only to find it full ... hence the anti-railing of anyone commenced.
As the minutes counted down, a gloomy looking Ding hovered between the three tables, looking, praying, even encouraging an all-in from anywhere to get a coveted seat ....
.... about 5 mins left to go and Ding hears the magic words ALL-IN and RUBluffing calls DING TRACEEEYYYYYYYYYY QUICK OVER HERE .... and she was there in a flash .... beady eyes gleaming, and I swear I saw saliva forming at the mouth haha
and BINK .... USA man is OUT and our Trace is over at the TD desk in a flash to get her money on and her chips in her hand a the last seconds count down
wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii a smile forms as the Vulchar of doom sits down .......... she settles herself in, and errrrr oops tangles with RUBluffing-NotThisTime. Carnage.

Top banter last night,wp to Chompy and the ever more impressive M.Bolton
Theres some good players in the lower levels,a few faces are catching the eye lately, unlike England we are not short of young talent coming through at the G
Back for more tonight, may buy in late as the 2 x 45min levels are a waste of time.Half hour all the way through would be much better
Good luck to Glen, get some international ranking points to go with the European ones

Another Ding one
I like to think I get a good read on Ding. You'll have to find out what it is for yourselves.
She raised earlyish and I call with a big stack in the big blind with 5-3 suited. Over-confidence born of a need to show off, probably
flop gives me bottom pair, check, check
I lead the 9 turn as I think she's missed, she min raises (standard Ding bully the nit out of it, and i still think she has nothing) and I call
river a blank and I check intending to check call
she makes a bet, I dwell, get the read and call with bottom pair
"Good call" she says and I triumphantly turn over 5-3 for bottom pair and my image transformed in an instant
"Oh" she says looking at the board then her cards "I thought I had nothing, Ace-eight, but actually I have a Nine (A9). I win"
FML.

But your read was correct

News just in from Glennda - he's made day two of one of the venetian deepstacks - 43 return from 699 (tonight, our time, I presume), he's just below average chips.
Bloody marv comp/structure imo.
699 runners; 1st place = $45k !!!!
I crashed out spectacularly in 118th; FML.
