Tikay Getting Binked by Poor play from Chompy who got more than lucky when calling a Big re raise with Q8 offsuit and flopping Trip 8's ...because he finds it so hard to pass pre flop to a raised pot  !!!

He calls that "Standard play"  ??

Played 2 Scored in 2 in April :-) Friday is the only free day I have in April, but unless I win something online I am too broke for the £75 :-( but not that broke that I won't be able to afford the Saturday Afternoon Freezeout :-)

btw is Semtex one of the Reading Two ;-) both of them decent players imho

Meh, run badage all night. 77 into KK on a K76KA board. Outplayed Tikay though. Obv.
Was 'priced in' with Q8 (blue, not off). Raised to 150 with blinds at 25-50 and he only made it another 275 with KK. Pretty gay. Had to call for comedy reasons, esp as he'd already had the rebuy.
Edna, Thomas, me, Xpress, Tikay all gone, so only the low-stacked Mr and Mrs Alien left at time of departure.
Weakest field I've seen at the G for a long time tonight.

sigh such bad reportage u should work for the sun......... u know i dwelt on the river for  3minutes cursing myself but had to call the last 2k into 10k...such a flipping binker running 8 8 sigh...FML..

Nope, the Reading boys are W4SP, who's a class act, and 2tight, with whom I've never played to date.

Apologies guys and gals, didnt realise that Nob was in fact a compliment.... took it the wrong way initially. As far as piss taking is concerned I would like to think that I am well versed in the art, so good luck to yall next time I travel to God's (poker)country.
I shall be heading to Nottingham this weekend so hope to see a few familiar faces up there. In response to Luther you too are a prime nob, thank you sir for your kind words! I didnt want to be staked but it seems that several of my "gay" poker pals want a piece of the action and who am I to argue with their judgement...it just means my bankroll will strecth a little further and run into months rather than weeks!
Most of you will know Graham Pound as a fairly decent player imho, he is not far behind Mike Magee and Willie in the all time winners list at Luton and that with taking several years out of the game and living 70 miles away. If he wants to spend his time and effort working with me, I can only be appreciative of that attention.

Anyway no hard feelings I wish you all the best and if any of you venture up to the deepstack I sincerely hope you do well!

ps just in case this post isnt long enough. I strongly believe that a poker tournament is a journey and so all the trips I have taken in the past at various venues or poker series have given me experience even the ones that I dint cash in. The recent Black belt London live helped me gain the belief that I could beat a field of top players and but for a minor error shudve made the FT. So I learnt from that and then the next tournament that I played (DTD) I went on to win. for all those players that have had relative success or minor cashes throughout the years, you have to believe that you can win a big one and it is hopefully a progression, we can go on to win regularly and at a higher level.....is that enough twaddle 4u Luther xxx

Popped into Luton on the way back from a night out last night only to bump into Chompy leaving. Asking him if Tikay was still in led him to laugh maniacally as he walked towards his white pimpmobile shouting gleefully "I knocked him out early doors".

I witnessed one of the shortest final tables ever with all ins being called all over the place and Captain (I used to fly planes you know) Pullar several places by avoiding any action at the table as he was distracted by attempting to explain mathematical and game theory to me as I sat on the rail.

[ ] I sure understood every word he said.
