Not sure Kalam would allow swingballz in to de poker room but I'll defo set up a league if you want.

RULES
1. All matches must take place on the back of Bernard's truck. Any results when said truck isn't covering a minimum of three spaces will be declared void.
2. All matches must be witnessed by two staff members getting a crafty one in out the back door like.
3. Results will appear here from June 2018, once Drainy has set up the spreadsheet.
4. The use of fruit and veg is strictly prohibited.
5. OverTheBorder will start each match with the line 'Contenders...READY!!!???'

#2 "crafty one" being Niall & Alex having a quick fag, or r u talking about Dan and Raj?
#3 I is well proper good wiv spreadsheets, just not old fashioned manual league updateaments (imo)
#4 should be allowed. bonus points up for grabs.
#5 OTB not only will, but MUST, provide all commentary and voice-overs.

The comedy night seemed to be a success

Guesstimate of around 80 in attendance,cardroom was transformed complete with a raised stage area near the toilets

80% of those there went for the buffet option, apparently the comedians were all very good

I hear other different events are planned ,including a Salsa Night....!

Me thinks Poker onThursdays may be sporadic to say the least

To be fair,at £18 pounds a head they are making a lot more from randoms on the lash, than they are from the regulars who frequent Thursdays

Sigh, nothing to report this morning. No league updates. Even Drainy could cope with this sort of workload.
I have less to say than a Carlsberg-guzzling Scotchman on an episode of The Real Hustle. Nowt.
Still awaiting plenty of monthly totals from random slackers though.
I guess our beloved poker room will be pimped out whenever they can find someone that wants to hire it out for something. Think Rockstar may be right about Thursdays becoming sporadic.

By the way, for anyone not aware (and apologies if this has already been stated somewhere) but the G will NOT be continuing with the early-bum-boy bonus from August onwards.

Despite the popularity of it - and resulting increased numbers - "management" has decided against it.

there was some convo the other night about some land having been bought separate from the main building, with plans to build a new cardroom there.  Seems odd to me - anyone know anything more about that?

PS I don't really want to go to salsa night - was drainy'd when i posted it.
