Two questions:

1, Which is better?

[ ] SitNGo Wizard
[ ] Other (please specify) ................

2, Were you joking about Josh Tyler?

Keys

Hey James, I use SNG Wizard and it's the best thing like this as far as I'm aware. TableNinja + HEM + SNG Wiz = the nuts.

No I wasn't joking about Josh Tyler lol. This is based on playing him a few times in early 2008. I don't play a whole bunch live so there aren't many people I have a decent sample size on, and there will be a lot of people I just haven't played against. Paul Jackson has always impressed me, and William Martin did recently. Michael Tureniec as well. Obviously John Eames, Praz Bansi, Akenhead and people like that might be on a lot of people's lists, but I've played very few hands with Eames John and Praz, and none with James as far as I recall.

Thanks for all the compliments about my songs btw. I really need to get round to recording some more, I have so many written that I haven't recorded.

Is the whole rapping a level? I've never spoke to you, but really cant put your face to the sound. Massive props for doing something you love though wpwpwp.
You can probably tell by now it's not a level lol. I remember a 6th form friend of mine said I was "the least likely rapper ever" when they found out that I did it.

What are your experience with cash poker, if you were to decide to start playing 6 max cash, obviously from your personality I think you'd start low, but where do you think you would be able to jump in and be a winning player straight away?
I played some 6-max cash for Black Belt Grading in May. I tried to just jump straight into it from HUSNGs, on the basis that I used to crush a high stakes cash game a couple of years previously. I watched a Cardrunners video or two beforehand and Alex Martin gave me a quick sweat session. But even after that I didn't do very well and was down a fair few buy-ins...so the answer is no I think. There's too many rakeback-regs and short stackers for me, even at these low stakes. At least on iPoker anywayz.

What did you study at uni/what uni, do you do anything associated to your course?
I studied Law with Applied Social Studies at Keele University....umm I try not to break the law, that's about it!...

Training websites are bombarded with cash videos, not so much sng/mtt and the content imo is pretty poor. 1) What is the best website in your opinion 2) Have you been approached to do videos before/given the opportunity would you?
I've only been a member of CardRunners, which has some good content, but tend to agree with you that those things are inferior to all the cash videos. I've heard PokerXFactor is perhaps the best for this kind of thing, so might have a look at that in the near future. I haven't been asked directly, though someone has said they would suggest me to a site. I might do it, but can't imagine the financial reward is really worth it, especially as I'd be helping people beat the games I regularly play in.

Wow im impressed, never knew you took the Mc ing seriously.

Can we get you to MC over the DTD mike at the Monte Carlo instead of the Trumper tourney updates?

Lol interesting idea. I think we should get Barry to do them though, see if he can really cut it Smiley

When i first came to know you James you were playing the highest stakes available on Tribeca $2k SNG's $20-$40 NL and $150-$300 limit cash.

I was wondering if you don't mind giving us the story of how you happened to get to those stakes, and then the journey back down the ladder again, as someone who doesn't appear to be a mad spinup merchant i imagine it will be rather unique.

This should be interesting, and perhaps quite long. Will answer this next time I do a batch.......

Wow, this thread is entertaining, great work MC.

I read your article on Poker News- how/when did you begin writing for them?

Also, much respect for this, after obviously playing so much higher in the past.
