How cool is this ?
From Wednesday 20th January, DTD are adding Festival Packages to both our Wednesday night tournaments.
Wednesday Night Tournaments
8.00PM £40 + £6 Rebuy £2500GTD PLUS 1 x £100K Deepstack Package
8.15PM £25 + £6 Freezeout £1500GTD Plus 1 x £40K 20Twenty Package
£100K Deepstack Package
As the winner of the £40 Rebuy, you'll be entered for the next Deepstack event following the Wednesday event that you have won.
The Deepstack Package includes one seat to both the Saturday £80,000 Guaranteed event, and one seat into the Sunday £20,000 Guaranteed event, a total value of £504. If you manage to make the second day of the £80K Deepstack, your £168 seat will be transferred to another event of your choice.
£40K 20Twenty Package
As the winner of the £25 Freezeout, you'll be entered for the next 20Twenty event following the Wednesday event that you have won.
The 20Twenty Package gives you the opportunity to play both 1 day events and win a share of a massive £40,000 GTD! The Package has a total value of £224.
To put this in perspective first prize in the £40 is usually circa £1000 so the winner will get up to 50% added value .
In the £25 first prize is normally circa £600 so the winner will get up to 33% added value.
This we hope will prove very popular and see increased prizepools on Wednesday nights.

Why is this done on a Wednesday and not Friday? I would think Friday's comp could become huge with this added value.

Because wednesday is for pokerz, friday is for drinkz |

Because Friday is sucessful enough as it is. This bring in the people on a Wed and will increase number of cash games. |
