I watched the final of a live small omaha comp last night
When they got heads up the TD announced that it was now no-limit
I have seen this before in pot-limit holdem comps but never omaha
Is the TD correct in doing this?

The reason the TD did it was because he said thats what happened in the omaha final of the GUKPT

thats defo not right, been hu in a couple of those. Unless it's a rule change this year, I'll ask but doubt it. I was hu in one where the casino was closing in 10 mins so we were gonna have to go to chip count and it was still plo. Won't tell u who won ;o)

Hi I'm sure Mr Raab will correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 100% sure, this is not the case in GUKPT events. The only event I can think of where this happens is the old HORSE WSOP event. It was limit all the way to the final, once they reached the final , it became NL Holdem.
It's not just a different a different betting limit, it's a different game. Might as well change it to Razz once they get heads up.
