Bad news today. Neil's Dad has been ill for a while and has taken a turn for the worse. So Neil's had to cut his Vegas trip short and was flying back today (yesterday your time).
Needless to say it's a sad time for him and his family, and for Neil the timing of it all has been so unfortunate. Of course, a holiday in Vegas is an irrelevance in the scheme of things, and the team definitely misses him.
We all wish him and his family the best. Thoughts are with them.
As for the rest of us, well I've just spent the day grinding the 1/2 @ the Venetian. Very nice card room, and nice of Stuart to donate his stack to me. The standard was poor overall (not including Stu in that), and I managed to finish more than 5 buy-ins up! It's Labour Day or something like that over here this weekend, so lots of donks playing cash, and also the streets were mobbed as I walked back from the Venetian to PH. I was going to be meeting up with the others at 9pm, but continued to grind a bit longer and have now got back to the hotel to crash. Eck and his mob arrived today, so I think the others were meeting up with them. I can imagine they'll be having one or two shandies.

Neil - really sorry to hear your news! Best wishes buddy!
The rest of you - keep up the updates - (m loving it in a way!)
Has anyone had an Earl of Sandwich yet @ PH?
How is the accom?
Im afraid that unless i get some unbelievable good news this week then any plans of a late journey out are busted! (what day do you fly back?)
Keep up the posts, and have fun! you will notice that weekends in vegas are MUCH busier than the rest of the week. GO find some ladies tonight!
ENJOY!

Just caught up with this.
Sorry to hear the bad news, best wishes.
I think the main question is still to be answered though....

Cos always has a man bag, he claims it's only for poker. Doubt that's true though.

Can we run an odds chart on that one? You're good with charts and maths. Off ya go.

Just woke up from my first and long over due ly in of the trip.
Me Stu and Sunny went to club XS at Encore last night, if you haven't been you need to check it out on your next visit! the place is incred. It was also helped that the place if full of absolute stunners, but i think there even out of Stuart 'StuartHopkin' Hopkin's league as nothing materialised, even though im sure he had a few 'suprises' up his sleeve for them!
Most of the guys have gone to play the $300 venetian comp today, but for me that seems to much of a gring for a Saturday in Vegas. Getting wrecked FTW!!!
Hopefully they all bust around 8pm so we can hit another club (edit: just had a call from Cos: Hes busto! wiiiiiiiiiii)
Heres a few pics from last night. Was nice of RED DOG to make an appearance imo.

Arrived yesterday around 3.30pm staying in the Signature which is cracking. We went to MGM for a few and had a game of 2/5 made about $1300 for the night Brian showed a profit but the cash game pro didn't obviously. All 3 of us managed to get about as hammered as i have seen us, I must have shifted about a bottle of Drambuie. We get back up to the apartment and Moley decides hes for some coffee or something and heads away back downstairs needless to say we didn't have a clue he had left as we had passed out. The dick proceeds to get lost and batter on doors on floors 36 and 30 (we are on 31) before he eventually gets the right door. He then wakes us all up in a mad panic shouting "look at the time its seven o'clock we have missed most of the day!!" he figures he was lost for so long it has to be in the evening. [ ] It was fun running back and forth to the bathroom at breakfast at 8am.
So they 2 are playing the Venetian comp and i have came back for a couple of hours in my bed will head back down later. Chatted to Cos for a brief bit before he disappeared, there was a woman on her table obv talking about Blatch to cos and he mentions he posts on Blonde and she asks his name "Oh your Greekstein!! I read all your posts wait till i tell .... i was speaking to you!" I did chuckle, the lads a legend everywhere he goes
