I feel this Scotland side is under rated, I'm on them at generous odds.
Effective. Like England probably. Not the most glamourous but they don't lkook rubish this year that's for sure.

Haskell and Flutey to score a try at any time.

Anybody to score a try at any time

fkn scrums!

Agreed, what a joke.

Two crap teams produce crap game shocker.

I love watching rugby but both England and Scotland are boring as hell to watch.

Hopefully we've sat through 70 minutes of poor rugby for a really exciting 10mins.

England are brain dead, no leaders/thinkersand I think very poorly coached.

Scotland less talented, but give it everything. Slowly recvoering after years of being rubbish

Ireland/Wales was a far better game

found thr scrummaging battle utterly absorbing. but im sad like that.

I think scotland are close to being halfway decent.

had to laugh at the commentators wondering why the english players would be so indisciplined, then it cut to a shot of martin johnston, at which point i blurted out, he made a fkin career out of it, thats why !!!!

There is absolutely no evidence that Johnson is a coach/manager/selector

Granted he lacks talent at some positions, but we simply are not coached right. The number of basic errors is scandalous too

Scotland, with less to pick from, are at least going in the right direction

Why does Tait play for England? We'd be better off with Cueto or a 3rd Flanker in his position.
Foden looked alright though.

Tait is suspect defensively, but has attacking flair. Problem is its the same as Flutey so in midfield we misss a lot of tackles, by far the most of any 6N team

Foden and Youngs, and Geragthy for that matter, are talented but inexperienced but as we should be getting them ready for the 2011 WC they need to be playing now not seeing the way blocked by the likes of Danny Care, Armitage (woefully out of form) and Tait who will always flatter to deceive

Up front he insists on picking Dylan Hartley who can't throw straight, Borthwick a skipper who doesn't lead, Easter the least mobile No 8 in the 6N

I could go on. I am going on.

I don't have a problem with Johnson as manager per se, however he deffo needs to look a surrounding himself with a team that would be more effective at coaching the backs and implementing some better tactics.

The Scots scrum seems to be their weak point which was why they tended to be collapsing it a lot, solid back line though and certainly not as bad as the 6N results reflect.

England were poor, but saved by some good tackling.

I'm less concerned with the Englands backs as I think the main problem is with the forwards. Getting hold of some decent ball would be a start. We have pace with the backs but if the aren't given the opportunity it doesn't really matter chopping and changing those players. Englands previous success has been based on dominating the forward game and good discipline. Both of these are sadly missing with the current team.

if you think scotland were collapsing the scrum, then i would hazard a guess that you have never been in the 'boilerhouse'  (c) bill mclaren...
