My mate got asked for id in Vegas when he was 39!
Pretty standard in the US no? I got carded in over 50% bars last year and I was 29 I saw at the baseball they had a challenge 35 policy when selling beer. Yup I'd imagine so, i was in Boston and my dad got id'd a few times and hes 48 albeit a young looking 48

Some lady selling vacuum cleaners just rang the doorbell on my house, and when I went to answer the door (admittedly wearing pyjamas) she asked me if my parents were in.
hgajdhflsjdahfsdhg, I'm 25 in a couple of weeks!
lol I got that from a double glazing salesman a while back. He was walking up the steps to the house, as I pulled up in the car on my way home from work. Waited for me at the front door rather than ringing the bell, and says 'Is your mum or dad in?' If I'd been sharper I'd have pointed and said 'Yes, they live about a mile that way.' I was about 34 at the time.

he said doesn't matter it's challenge 30 eh? challenge 30 means if you look under 30 you have to challenge them, even if you think they are about 26 its going to get worse as more people move from challenge 21 to challenge 30 in pubs clubs and shops i still get challenged daily in my dreams

Best one i ever had was in a bar in town.
Ordered the drinks and as she was pouring the last wine she said "You are 18?"
I said "Nope"
She said "What?"
I said "WTF did you think i was going to say"
She said "You have a point" and passed the drinks over.

If the policy is to challenge anyone that appears to be under 30 it gives the person asking for ID a bit more leeway in avoiding looking like a twat when as far as they can tell the person they are serving could be anywhere between 16 and 26.
