Yeah going to the Southern Hemisphere in the winter ftw. I am planning on Aus/NZ first couple of months of next year. I am trying to do it to coincide with the England cricket tour of NZ next year.

Just happy to see you doing so well mate. RTW trip sounds like a sick plan, and great for motivation purposes.

Reason SA isn't popular in May because of weather I'd assume, bear in mind it's summer during our winter etc

Don't think it's anything to do with that as the route's are priced for all year round but few include Africa. I'm planning to go to North Africa not South, the South doesn't really appeal that much. Ofc though to fit them in as you go around it would be tough to go when they where all having there Summers.

Haha, guess this costs quite a bit ? See what the budgets like when I leave but pretty likely I'll do this since its at the start of the trip Smiley Pretty blatantly obv I'll be back home in three months, gg busto. Will be looking to get some tips from blondes who've been around for things not to miss whilst I'm in different places at the time.

Found his new one, and his old one from 5 years+ ago, but not the one inbetween lol, is it on cardrunners ? Had a look at a travel site though and it does look niceeeeee, was $1k for 2 nights but that was based on two sharing, sound about right ? Probably out of my budget.

Interest rates are so meh - usually I'd obviously say get a cash Isa for first 11k - you an put just under a £1k a month in April - March and check best rates on money supermarket - will be loads of deals to get you in March

Personally, I max out 30k in premium bonds - great for poke players, bit of a sweat, I returned 5% last year although I think overall payout is about 2% - your money is really accessible in a few days but not instant so you can't tilt degen it and obv tax free.
