Class post mate, that one guy is lucky to have you as a mate imo Smiley

That comment really wasn't meant as a pity me comment,I'm more than happy with the group of people I have around me.I never really understood the big group of people all together situation as I've been apart of it and generally half of the group doesn't even like each other, but cheers mate.I was just generally trying to express the fact that for one reason or another I don't get very close to very many people and discussing college and Uni made me think of that as although I got on with everyone at my college I was never actually friends with anyone.

Yeh nice post and from nowhere too.

I just felt that if I was going to express my dismay at Amazon being loose enough to not ask for the 3 digit number on the back of a bank card then it was necessary I told my life story first.

Anyone any idea why the don't ?

How come if you buy something off Amazon and pay with a card you don't have to give the 3digit number on the back of the card, this is the only site I've ever used to purchase something on the internet that's doesn't ask for it ?

I've always wondered this too...You can just snap buy anything as long as you have the password. Not one to save on your computer!

I've bought 2 pairs of headphones

Did you buy a new headset ffs???

PS Yes this is me despite the use of words such as nonchalant and bewilderment, not sure where either of those came from.

Good job you used the word nonchalant incorrectly Smiley

....

I almost tl;dr that post but I'm glad I didn't as it's nice to get an insight into your life/thinking.

Don't understand the ppl not getting you bit really, I'm sure if you lived closer we'd be good mates.

I understand your feelings about your A-Levels, but as one door closes another one opens and all that.

I was very money orientated when I was younger,I always desired to be rich whereas now I honestly don't care about money as long as I get it in good

Wouldn't you be better off:
playing music on your desktop (you can stream from the laptop if you want)
getting some form of mixamp to mix the 2 sound streams into one headphone?

I sure new that was possible.Although maybe you wouldn't hear the beeping very well over the music if it where mixed together.

I always listen to music and don't have a problem. I imagine you could set different volume levels for both channels too Wink

I don't know why I do and it's hard to even explain but in general I struggle with people or more so they struggle with me and I reckon if I had've went I probably wouldn't have enjoyed Uni anyway.People just seem to find it hard to "get" me and obviously that must be something I'm doing[/b]

I read your comment above and lot's of us struggle with people. I don't know you but most people don't get other people because they are to tied up in their own world to even try and notice. This changes through life and your circumstances and the people around you. Don't assume it is you. A lot of this is confidence and how you feel about yourself.

If you think about it with poker when you are confident and running well you barely notice setbacks. Your confidence helps with decision making and you don't question yourself as much. When things go against you the opposite applies.

I am impressed with the 20 tabling. I have table Ninja and struggle above 5.

When you get to SN have you thought about moving up stakes and playing less tables? it must be diificult to determine the impact each additional table has on your overall ROI. At some stage with diminishing returns an extra table has to reduce your overall profitability.

Good luck with getting to SN.

I'm not lacking in confidence,it's pretty hard to explain as I don't know what it is myself, like I say I'm happy and that's obviously all that matters. When I get sufficiently rolled I will include the higher bi comps but at the times I play hardly any run anyway.

I didn't get started until late today so volume isn't great.I was planning on playing 200 but stopped at 160 as I was pretty knackered.Stopping in tonight and putting a full day in tmoro as it'll be a couple of days after tmoro before I play again.I'm kind of disappointed with my volume this week but it hasn't been to bad and made a decent roi which is pleasing.

Games today : 160
Profit today : $307.50
Games total : 700
Profit total : $871.00

Current bankroll : $3218.00

Great post mond.

I don't think it's unusual, getting on with everybody but having few people you could class as good friends.
I get on with a heap of folk but I don't think there's anybody who, if I asked them to be best man at my wedding, they wouldn't think "wow, that's a bit out of the blue. We get on but I didn't realise we were best buds"

I'm already married so that's not going to be a problem. Just using it as an illutstration. Maybe it would have been more relevant to say that it's why I try to keep myself out of duels, because I'm not sure who I'd ask to be my second.

I find that very much depends on whether it's pistols, swords, or fisticuffs.
