Such a frustrastrating game sometimes, got off to a good start and was up $250 after QQ>>>>>>AK plus winning some medium sized pots, I then find KK in co, a reg in hj opens I 3b he peels 100bbs deep, he c/j a QJ7dd flop, I call, obv he peeled pre with Q7ss, wpwp. Bit later on I open A9ss co reg peels rest fold. I cb A75ccd he calls, turn is I barrel he calls, river is , I bet 28 into 43 with 50 back, he jams, dont think he has a set here very often as he'd raise turn pretty much always so I'm losing to AJ or Axdd, I call, he has A10dd, lose a few more smaller pots and a +2.5 bi session is quickly a -.5 bi session Sad

All pretty standard stuff I know but I like to vent on here so....

Off to cook a sirloin steak and watch the Barca v Real game now then grind for a few hours if tables are decent.

Decided to treat me Mam for her 50th, I was thinking of spending around a £100 as things are pretty tight at the minute but since 50 is a big one and she spent quite a lot on me on my 18th I thought wtf may as well, I'm still deciding between these two which to get, I slighty prefer the white gold one but you get more carat in the yellow gold one, guessing this is because white golds more expensive. I bought a £100 voucher off ebay for £40 so makes it £60 cheaper than it should be, binkkkkkkkkkkk.

LOL, run worse.

Decided to just watch the first half of the Barca game so I could get back grinding, sure glad I did. Done 3 bi's in half an hour. Had A10ss v JJ in 3b pot on a QJxss flop, all in and drawing dead by the turn, had KQ v a fish with KJ, I barrel 2 on a K10xx board and set up a river jam obv binks J on river. Then made a river bluff jam which I think was a good spot, sigh that he 3b me pre bb v btn 97hh and had the flush. I normally forgot about it pretty much instantly but was still steaming 5 minutes later so just shut all my tables down, pretty huge sigh at a -600 swing day, FML. I know I can do well at this and my winrate from the 1st of July was 5.00 /100 after Mondays session which although isn't anything special is still pretty respectable, after the last two frustrating days it's now 3.17.Hopefully next couple of days will be better, won't be playing over the weekend so will see.

You must have mentioned it thus far in the diary, but i must have missed it, but why did you stop playing tournaments/sngs. Not to say you aren't good at cash, you have explained you have an edge in these games, but it seemed like things were a little bit more cushty with the 45 manners?

Lol that's a pretty standard diaryism. You move up or try something different and if you run bad at the start everyone comes on saying why did you stop doing xyz?

Pretty sure dropping a few buyins since the monte carlo is gonna mean I'm gonna get a few pms or posts soon saying "why are you spunking all your winnings on cash, shouldn't you go back to being staked because you were winning then".

Carry on doing what your doing mond, variance is an absolute biatch.

Yeh i want mond to do well, if that was directed at me Alex, i was just wondering on what he thought about 45 manners and his new life in cash now. Weren't meant to be a dig or a go at his decision making here just if he could tell me what he thought.

It wasn't took as a dig, the simple fact is, as I said at the time, I stopped enjoying playing 45mans. Plus there is a cap to what you can achieve playing 45mans, I wanted the new challenge of giving cash ago and I'm very confident it will go well.

The Sunderland game this Saturday literally couldn't be at a worse time ffs. I always seem to run bad with when that's scheduled. Two years ago I'd booked Lee Evans tickets, a year in advance, obv 9 months later when the fixtures came out we where playing them the same day as Lee Evans was on. I'd been out from 10am that morning, plus we got beat so I was in a stinking mood, it was away and it was the first time I'd managed to get tickets for the away game, I sat in a huff for the first half of his act, fell asleep at the start of the second Smiley

This time it's the day before me Mam's 50th, if we win it will get messy and I will be rough off the drink the next day, not only that but I've just getting an email reminding me it's the VIP 1mill 1/4rly this Saturday, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
