Yup, Narcos was a decent addition to my viewed column. Somehow enhanced by them speaking Spanish all the way. Actor playing Pablo did a pretty great job imo

Starting Friday Night Lights.  Only 20 mins into episode one and I can tell it's going to be another one of those programs that makes me want to sell up and move to the States!

"Mr Street, do you think God loves football?"

"I think everybody loves football"

Haven't watched it for a few years, so I'm due a rewatch.

Makes me wish I'd taken the time to visit more places in the US, when it would have been easy to mooch about.

Reality TV is shit. We all know this. The only thing it's good for is for Chompy and Tal to make Fred money by betting on it.

However, I've started watching a different type of reality show. It's on Channel 4 every Thursday at 9pm and it's called Hunted.

http://www.channel4.com/programmes/hunted/on-demand/60136-001

The premise is brilliant. 14 volunteers who applied to be on the show are given one hour's warning that they have to go on the run. They get a bank account with £450 in it and have one hour to pack, say their goodbyes to their family, and get the hell out of town before the "police" come and "arrest" them. And when I say police, I mean the best in the world.

The guy heading the 30 man team of crack investigators used to be the Head of Counter-Terrorism for the City of London Police. Their analyst worked for the FBI and was part of the team involved in locating Osama Bin Laden. They have access to all the systems that you can imagine. ANPR, CCTV, banks etc. You name it, they have it.

It's absolutely brilliant. Quite possibly one of the best TV shows I've watched this year. Just a pity it's probably only going to be 6 episodes, which is standard for Channel 4. There have been two so far and I've linked to 4OD for the first episode up there.

It is only a six episode series!  Saw a trailer that I thought looked interesting. Will give it a whirl

Watched first episode, got potential but I am a little worried about a yank writing a series about Brit history.
