Is it just me or is anybody else disappointed with Boardwalk Empire finale?

Last episode, or series as a whole?  I've only watched the first one, but not hearing great things overall.

That was aimed at last episode but the series on the whole has been too crammed in to just 8 episodes.

Thought much the same. They've gone beserk for a few episodes, and it's like someone has said 'that'll do', after writing the last.

I didn't really enjoy the last series, just seemed so detached from the previous series with the 7 year gap.
Producers were like ok we had enough now, lets just kill 'em all off.

Love Stephen Graham. I'm sure I read somewhere when he first got offered the part he didn't even know what it was. When asked why he accepted it, he said something along the lines of   It's Scorsese!

Good interview here and talks a bit about that.

I quite liked the end of Boardwalk, it seemed fitting.  Agree with everything said about Stephen Graham.

Anyone watched Peaky Blinders - have done both series in a last 10 days or so, brilliant.  Well worth a watch.

This is the bit that spoilt it for me. To give them a storyline they created this gap. Whereas I'm sure the previous series just pretty much continued with no significant time elapse.

Obv agree on the Stephen Graham comments.

Honestly, I didn't think Kathy Bates' accent in American Horror Story could get any worse, but she was absolutely terrible this week.

When in conversation with the chap with the terrible posh English accent, that would normally be distractingly bad, she made his sound passable.

Surely someone in the cast or crew could have pointed out how ridiculous she sounded and maybe try something else.

Haven't started watching this yet, but will keep an eye out when I do Cheesy

Watched the first two episodes of the missing on bbc1 with James Nesbit
Really good
Gonna be a few twists I think

Defiantly got something to do with the builder who put the reward up.

Has anyone been watching Leftovers?

Started of slow but got better with each episode. The last one which deals with what happened on the fateful day was superb.

I watched the 1st season, they've just rinse repeated Lost all over again, complete bullshit that makes no sense but yet is super interesting and you have to keep watching. Maybe I'm just not intelligent enough to follow it.

Leftovers is really really good. If you like Lost, its a grittier, darker, and less tilting version of it. Plus it has Christopher Eccleston in it.

Don't get me wrong I do like it, I liked Lost, but just WTF moments are so frequent for me. Big Christopher Eccleston fan.

Lost is one of my all time favourite shows, and I never found it tilting, at all.

I understood why it irked so many people, but I just loved the characters, and their journeys.

If you wanted answers, you were 1.01 to need some kind of anger management class after it finished Cheesy

I've got so many shows to start, I don't even know where to begin!
