Very much into The West Wing at the moment, can't believe this has passed me by for so long!  I love that it's a good old fashioned 22 episodes per season but it's perhaps worrying that I'm nearly half way through season two having only started watching it a week or so ago.

I'm also watching House of Cards which is rated highly on IMDB but I can't help but dislike Kevin Spacey's acting.  I'm only on episode two but find him dull and monotone, completely contrasting all the characters in West Wing.  Perhaps it will grow on me.

The original HoC is loads better, thought US one was poor on first two episodes I watched, should I persist?

I haven't seen the UK version, but I would persist with the US.

HoC gets better towards the second half of season one, then really goes into another gear for all of season 2. Totally worth sticking with.

UK H.O.C wasn't on the same level as the US version imo.

You'll spot pretty much the entire cast of The Shield in there at one point or another.

Walton Goggins clearly wins though.

My boss had the same problem with the US HoC and gave up on it, but I'd go with the consensus and say stick with it.

It does suffer in comparison with the UK original, but it's still well worth watching.

Hi Guys,

Can I ask where you watch all of this stuff on line? I had been using   http://watchseriestv.to/  mainly on my old laptop, I have a new one now with windows 8 ffs  YUK.  When I try to watch on this new lappy it wants be to download media player, when I try it sends me to load of other crappy things it wants be to download.  I tried this on my desktop recently and I ended up with adds and the like all over the place.  So what sites do you guys use?

Regards

Steve

On a side note on this poxy windows 8 how do I stop this side bar constantly popping in, I thought that I had disabled it in the settings. Horrid isn't it?

windows 7 should do the trick, and invariably dont download a single thing from those sites, they are dodgy sites hence any advertising/spamware on there is going to be aggressive and unfriendly.
