Anyone Watching Alone on History Channel?

Have not looked it up, and hope its all it seems to be.

Basic premise is 10 people (outdoor survival experts) sent with no crew to various individual locations on Pacific coast of Canada.  Basic supplies (Knife, tarp, fire steel, bag and bottle), no crew, motion detection cameras and a handheld.
Whoever last's the longest wins 500k.  Environment is full of Bears, Cougars and Wolves yearly rainfall is measured in feet, it is basically an unforgiving place.  The bravado of the participants lasts about half a day.  The psychological unravelling of the participants is fascinating - solitude does very strange things to people.

If it turns out to be staged I will be upset, as its brilliant so far.
Highly recommended - is available on catch up.

most mental show on TV

Yup. Quality.

Didn't expect the gunshots to be quite so graphic, but excellent nonetheless!

While I wait for of Hell On Wheels to be aired, I'm starting Halt and Catch Fire.  It's about the early 80's computing industry - it's off to a good start.  Read all about it on IMDB, worth checking out if you need something to tide you over.

I've been debating watching it again, before I watch the movie.

10 New US shows reviewed by BBC.

http://www.bbc.com/culture/story/20150826-ten-new-us-tv-shows-to-watch

Blind Spot, Limitless and The Player all appeal.

Believe Ballers has also started in the US, anyone recommend it? starts on Sky next week.

Thought is was really good in the end, and was the right last two in my opinion.  The reaction of X when told he had won was classic "already?"
The winner seemed actually gutted that he didn't get to find his breaking point - can't imagine how X2 felt when told he finished 2nd.

Those you mention def have potential. Blind spot sounds the most intriguing.

Ballers is great. First season just finished, will be watching again on Sky though!
