Have a friend who taking a girl he known out for a while on a first date- for reasons that I wont post he wants to go completely over the top and go on the most ridiculous first date ever. I know people are going to post she wont like it but thats not for discussions am looking for ideas for him, no budget

this - we don't want to stay in England all night. Given that we've got a day and night, then Paris might be a good option

How about booking every cabin on the London Eye?  Arrange a chef/food & butler for one cabin??

Then book an old school river barge to spend go back to afterwards on a decent part of the Thames?
