Good game for the neutral - cant see either side going too far on those defensive performaces though.

How can a Liverpool fan be neutral when Utd are playing?

How is it any luckier than Milan's goal?

I'm with Dave on this , that was one of the jammiest goals you could possibly get and all this from a team whos 2nd top scorer for the season is o.g.

I heard Souness say at half time Ferdinand made a good tackle when Ronaldinho was one on one with him, am i gone blind or what ? He was nowhere near the ball ,Ronny did him it was a bs decision and yet you have souey looking at the exact same thing im looking at and saying its a good tackle wtf?

I know what your saying Rookie ,  believe me i wanted Milan to win so badly but surely you agree that it was a spectacularly lucky goal by scholes? Takes a swing and misses completely oh its ok it hit his other leg and spun in off the post in the only place that could beat the keeper, on top of that the lucksacks are getting o.gs and deflected goals all season. If they keep that up they might win the league and trust me i want Chelski to win it so those douches dont take title no.19. As much as you think i dislike chelsea its nothing compared to growing up in a house where my dad and 2 bros all support ManU !

Ha, I know it was lucky, was just joking with what Camel said above really and then you, a Liverpool fan, comes to comment on the game. I agree Scholes goal and the amount of own goals they are getting are ridiculously lucky.

Scholes' goal last night was luck, but not that much luckier than the deflected shots that leave a keeper scrambling.

Own goals, like penalties, stem from pressure on defences and are rarely just about luck.

yeah. united's og tally this year is because they're constantly attacking, pressuring and shooting

seriously claiming it shows they're lucky is pretty lol

Man U will have Vidic back and Rio maybe won't be in the worst form of his career so would still fancy man u to go deep

Agree to an extent but the midfield is the real long term issue.

I was chatting about this last night,I think it's the first time I've looked at a Man U midfield and not seen a majority of world class players, imo they have none. They're all very good/excellent players but not world class.Still think they play so well as a team that they've a decent shout but none of there midfield would get a look in at Barca/Real or prob even Chelsea.

They have 8 very good midfielders, which is perhaps better than 2 world class and 3 very good...

Can we find stats out of curiousity of how many og's ManU have compared to Chelsea and Arsenal, because I'm assuming it will be all very similar seeing as I'm sure they attack ,pressure and shoot, just like ManU.

Obv some og's are legit as in someone was there to tap in if defenders dont deal with it , but to me it seems alot of ManU's stem from shots going nowhere and then deflecting in thats just luck really , nowt else imo.
