Kill Everyone: Advanced Strategies for No-Limit Hold 'em Poker Tournaments and Sit-N-Gos

Power Hold'em Strategy

Was thinking of investing in these two titles.  Any thoughts most gratefully appreciated.

Gus Hansens book is the best poker book I've read.

Was going to get mathematics of poker other week.  It got slated though by some for being far too complicated.

Mike Matusows autobiography was a really good read, recommend it.

I'd agree with this actually...

If maths is too complicated for you, online poker may well be too, it's hard to get by on just feel. No reason to not read it, it's like work because it's school text book style but that's the best way to explain it.

The CTS e-books v good for reg exploitation at ssnl and msnl online too. thumbs up

It's basically a maths textbook.

My biggest issue with Gus's book is that it doesn't show the hands that he lays down preflop.  Obviously most of it is junk like 10 3o but it would be interesting to see the cases where he tightens up significantly in the face of bets preflop and lays down relatively big hands  Reading the book it seems like loves anything remotely resembling a hand but I am sure that isn't totally the case and the more interesting preflop laydowns would be useful.  Other than that I really enjoyed it.
