Deep Purple in the Ryanair Chase. 25/1 now. The trainer's asst rode 6 (six) winners for Lawney Hill at last weekend's PTP's and never tells them anything about Evan Williams nags but made an exception here. He says the horse is better than they have ever had it and they were considering tackling the Nicholls beasts in the Gold Cup but have opted for this instead. If you consider that this horse's best form would have him close to favouritism here then 25/1 is very big.
good enough for me.. hopefully wen i land in barca ill be 5k richer.. tyty

Agree is good value.. Also think Voy Por is massive @ 16's in this... was odds on in this last year and only got beat by Imperial Commander... First time all year has had his gorund and trip and festival form speaks for itself.... Great bet EW imo

Somehow managed to break even yesterday. Thank God for these bookies being 1/4 odds a place all races. This is really the best weeks gambling of the year.
Onto today..
The only big ante post bet on a handicap I've had runs today:
Hey Big Spender ew @ 14/1. I really fancy this and unless it goes to silly to one, I'm keeping the lot.
Second race is probably a pass, although with 5 places on offer I'm open to suggestions.
I haven't played in race 3, but I'm funking against Poquelin, who I wanted to bet but I kept missing the boat, certainly not backing him at around 3/1.
Karabak each way in the fourth selects himself.
I haven't played in the fifth yet, but on Shillingstone in the last..
GL all.
PS Katie Walsh in the first yeaterday was absolutely horrible to watch. Like going back int time 30 years when jockeys used to abuse horses.

Francome had a proper go yesterday at one of the jockeys who whipped the horse on its ribs ...
Walsh AND Carberry both picked up bans for "excessive use" after that race.

blech.
The style of his racing makes that pretty/very unlikely.
Much better the bookies who are offering 5 places in the handicaps today (ie not Ladbrokes!)

4 days she got... I think she deserved a month. I counted 25 proper strokes, plus countless slaps down the neck.
It was the worst I've seen for years and soured what should have been a great achievement for her.
