Witnessing the hard work of Tighty and Maria this weekend...hats off! Well done guys, superb updates amd nice being in both your company so much.

Secondly, grats to James Mitchell. This guy is a class act, on and off table. He's so comedy too.

During the week I was trying to persuade James to make the trip to Ireland. In his words, 'No, I'm not going to fking Dublin. I've been to Ireland 5 times now and I've never come home with money. It's a BOK!'.

Good read James.

Also,

At the end of day 2, he wrote 23,000 on the chip count card on the front of his chip bag when he really had a 200k stack in the hope that he could lump on himself. Shame the dealer spotted it and didn't let him get it through. Would have been another nice coo.

Anyway, well done all. Look forward to the next one.

In this instance he took some, small five figures worth, on the day, with the rest bank xfer. I assume he'd keep most in Euros to save charges and use it for EPTs etc

As it happens he had, by most estimates, about 70% of himself out to shareholders including some blondes. So well done them

These people probably spent most of their winning share on Jaegerbombs last night.

but Maria is the right person to ask about that  Wink

In the Irish papers this morning there was a feature on Paul Carr "Limerick Poker Ace wins €312,000" etc etc with a by-line

"I am going to buy a house and make sure the CAB don't see any of it".

CAB (Child support agency in Ireland)

Quite charming.

Just makes that Ace on the river and James winning it all the more sweeter.

I dunno about the rest of the gang, but I think I got off lightly on the booze front Smiley

CAB = Criminal Assets Bureau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_Assets_Bureau)

Its just a bit of Irish humour from him, self pisstaking cause Limerick is unfortunately having quite the problem with organised crime at the mo.
