Playing full time and claiming dole is a pretty scummy thing to do imo. If the £80/week makes a significant difference to your income, you aren't making enough money to be playing poker full time

I didn't work for 4 months between leaving the Navy and starting work again and never signed on then. I only did after I stopped working in 2004 b/c I didn't have a dentist and thought I would get one quick that way. As it happens I just joined the same one as my parents in a private practice b/c it was more hassle than it was worth. I certainly wasn't doing it for the £40 or w/e it was back then lol

I'm pretty sure there is plenty we all know on here, and in the poker world we know doing it. They should just get a job instead of being degens if they can't cut it to make enough money to live on............
