Does anyone know if you are able to change your base currency from GBP into $$$?

I want to shift my cash from virgin poker into another site, and I've come to use my neteller account but I find the base currency is £. As my virgin and stars accounts are both in dollars then I'm gonna be hit twice by the conversion rate Sad

I wonder if it is possible to have two accounts, one for £££ and one for $$$.

Mine like yours is in ££'s, but as I play mainly on betfair/Hills and Laddies that's ok.

As for switching I'm not sure.

You can switch your base currency.

As far as I'm aware you aren't allowed to have two Neteller accounts.

I dont think you can operate two accounts......however I asked them this same question.

They told me to open a new account in $$$ and then email them to ask them to close the £££ account and transfer your balance into the new one. You dont get to keep your netpoints though!

I havent got around to it yet though!

Twice, surely...

Once, when I convert my dollars from virgin into pounds for neteller, and then again when I deposit dollars into pokerstars from my neteller pounds.

That wasnt the questin tho Mikky....It was what happens about cashing out from Netteller

If you use it to transfer between dollar poker accounts than thats why its best to have a $$$ account with netteller.

yes, ironside's post was in responce to mine. i only use neteller to withdraw money as i dont play any other sites apart from pokerstars. For me its much more beneficial to have the account in £££ as if i withdraw a cheque in $$$ not only does it take a lot longer to clear in a £££ account but as well as a very poor exchange rate i also lose quite a bit in bank charges.

If you use neteller more to switch funds from on site to another then it would be better to keep the account in $$$.

To convert your neteller account from one account currency to another then just email support with your request, thats all i did many moons ago to have mine switched to £££ when the option was first introduced

If I want to cash out my winnings I would do it via one of the UK poker sites like VC poker or virgin poker. Deposit via neteller and then withdraw via my bank account.

Since virgin only let me cash out via my credit card, this would suit me fine Cheesy
