Villian is BigEgypt. He made the final of the $5k shootout. I have no history with him.

He has just moved to the table with 160k (starting stack 75k)n chips but immediately lost about 40k in which he c/c all streets and lost to aces.

I have him well covered now.. me 170k him 120k.

Blinds 600/1200 200

he opens utg+1 for 2900.

All fold to me in the bb and I have black kings. I make it 9500, he calls.

Flop

I lead for 12,500 (thoughts?) he calls.

Turn .

I check (thoughts?) he checks behind.

River .

What is my best line here?

from what i know of BigE he is farily aggro and ive seen several vids where he is deep in 6 max

the check raise is an ok line here as he prob fires a good % of the time. Im presuming the first 3 bet in this game doesnt necessarily mean a monster  - therefore your range isnt super tight

the prob with the check raise is that he prob isnt paying you off - so therefore you could argue you might as well v bet and get value from your hand

you could even maybe lead with a big over bet? If he doesnt know you it might look spazzy enough to get a call, and there are plenty 2pr str8 and flush holdings where he can call

He has checked turn basically for pot control as virtually every draw has hit, so bet big.

Unless you flopped a set there isn't a hand you lead the flop with that likes to be raised on a paired river. For that reason I think there's a lot of value in leading the river. I like blocker also.

Probaly goin to go with flushy idea of blocker ber to induce 2 bet but more interesting is what do you do if he makes a big bet like pot size or overbet  after you have checked the TURN Huh??

bet more on flop? like 16k i'd go with

then bet again on the turn, something that sets up nicely for a river shove.

as played meh i doubt he's going to spazz out here + there's like no bluffs in your range and he won't be paying you off for a c/r. sucks.

I went with the flushy route of betting 14k.

He called with 99 Sad

Think I should have shoved.
