Getting back to the OP      ......      with what has emerged - what else were Tikay, Richard, and Dumpsey supposed to do?

They are the Directors/shareholders of a Limited Company - and money had gone astray.

All of them had a 'duty of care' to ensure that their 'customers' funds were intact/available - and certainly not impinged upon by a member of their own staff.

(Even taking into account Kev's problems) They were obliged to act - and did so!

Fair play to all three of them for speedily sorting it out, and getting the outstanding amount sent to the bereaved family.

Maybe if some of the critics had ever run a company before (or even had a phuqqin proper job), you might just start to appreciate the legal ramifications    ....     let alone the damage to the company image/integrity caused by the events.

An oversight by one of our ex employees has been bought to our attention.

Full details of Brendan's account balance and what followed.

The error has been corrected and the family are satisfied and happy.

As Kev is no longer an employee there is little we can do, however he feels that its best he now resigns as a moderator.

We have also banned one member and one moderator who have handled this in a self righteous spiteful way.



Company image intact, the right thing done. So many people on this thread are missing the point its untrue, and to say its because people havent run a company before is just ridiculous.

The point I was making was, the bitterness of Kev, putting the comment in his blog, does not necessarily mean it is true..  At the end of his recent blog post, he makes a lot of bitter accusations.  It all depends whether you believe someone that bitter.  I am not saying it is a lie or a truth, but, the last few posts before this one are asking for a mod to be banned, and, there aint no evidence to backup that, and if there is, maybe she should be banned...  But, only when and if...

I'm not going to say you are wrong especially since you might be correct but your standard of proof is very low.

Shame it's all come to this really. In retrospect I am sure this thread would have been done in a different manner, either keeping it private or letting Kev go with some dignity.

Tarnishing Kev with other things that are irrelevant (and last months news) to this forum only shows up the snakes and rats that like to kick someone when they are at rock bottom.

While his actions were misguided and not pleasant, overtime you can understand and forgive Kev, no one will be hurting more than him.

Inthebelly sure is a loyal cookie to his friends and that's exactly what Kev needs right now.

yes kev certainly does need friends right now and im sure he appreciates your good wishes.

as for me rightly or wrongly im the sort of person who doesnt like injustices especially against my family and friends so will fight tooth and nail if i see this happening.

I think some of Kev's friends have chosen to believe everything he says as 100% the truth, and that is admirable as support to a friend goes.  But..  There are things that I have read here in this thread, and on his blog, that appear to untruths by Kev which make me wonder how many of the other parts are truth or untruth.

ie. I have been working on PC's for 20+ years, and I have never seen any way that a PC records that files were copied to a particular mobile device.  It says just that in Kev's blog, he has evidence, he says.  I dont think it is true.  I dont know any way in Windows that this could be done, maybe someone can enlighen me.  The log files would be bigger than you could understand.

I was prepared to accept that the money from Brendan's acct was an oversight as Kev says, but, then I see dates explained by Tikay, that the money was taken 1 week after his death and 1 week before his funeral, so now, I am wondering what the truth is.  The dates dont lie.

I have no axe to grind with Kev, but, I hope you can see my point of view regarding inconsistencies.  I just makes me wonder how many more there are.

I'm saying what I'm saying. "other stuff" is appearing. I do not read Kev's Blog, though I did (prior to going to Vegas) try to ring him at least once a week to have a natter with him. But stuff has emerged today which I was personally unaware of. Others may have been, I was not. It may or may have been in his Blog, I've no idea. I was genuinely not aware that his parting of the ways with Jane was acrimonous, & thus there is/was considerable side-action. That may or may not have been naive on my part, but my days are pretty full, from start to finish, & I miss a lot of stuff that goes off, or gets Posted. But I'm reading this thread, so I'm learning "new stuff".

As to your final line, yes, I'm also fully aware of your (& Geo's) opinion of me. And Ariston's view of me.
