I think Kevs response seems honest, apologetic, and the fact of the matter is, it has caused a degree of embarrasment to Blonde owners.

However, the blatant retaliation attempt sickens me. I love the end of Kevs first post. We all have private conversations, and thats what they are, and where they should stay. Im not sure i would have had Kevs restraint after having been treated this way.

Imagine the damage he could do to TK - a TV "personality" nonetheless.

Oh and btw Tikay, asking someone to take a break and then banning them, doesnt count as asking someone to take a break

In light of Kev's post on his blog saying he did spend the 600 dollars, I still stand by my personal feelings on how this was dealt with publicly on here.

Not quite in the Blatchly mould either. IMO the correct thing to do after all of the hard and often unpaid work Kev had done for Blonde would have been to deal with this privately between Kev and Tikay.

He gave you his loyalty for a long time, but was rewarded with a kick in the balls, at a time in his life when it was the last thing he needed.

I laughed when people on here worried Blatch may harm himself as it was obvious that was never gonna happen. In Kev's case, you're dealing with someone who may well see this as the final straw. I really hope not.

Tighty asked me to proof-read & correct his Post before he made it, & I did make a few changes. Unfortunately, in my haste, I missed something which I now realise was very relevant. No excuses, my bad.

Tighty Posted this (in italics), but it must be incorrect. I have no idea who got confused here, but somebody did, if my records are correct. I have enboldened a few words, as the context of them is material.

".....During the course of the conversation I established a sequence of events according to Kev. I reported these verbatim to tikay the same night.
 
The sequence of events as stated to me was as follows
 
- Kev had spoken to Brendan Hartnett's son on the day of the funeral and offered assistance with the online poker accounts and the repatriation of funds to the family
 
- Subsequent to that Kev had organised with Aqua that Brendan's account would be closed and the monies would be transferred to his blonde Poker account for forwarding to the family
 
- Kev then withdrew the monies and placed them onto Full Tilt Poker, the idea being that they would be transferred to Brendan Hartnett's account and thence onto the family...."

The money was transferred from Brendan's Account to Kev on 23rd September 2008. We have the original e-mail stating this, & Kev's reply, thanking them, for their prompt assistance, the same day.

blondepoker are guilty of failing to pay this money in a timely manner. I accept full responsibility for that. When Kev protested his innocence, I simply said he was guilty of gross negligence - no more, no less. He accepted this fully.

I have apologised to the Hartnett family for blondepopker's failure to act in a decent manner here. There were no excuses for that, & I did not blame anyone except myself.

To those who day I should not have Posted anything, you may - or may not - be right. I don't know. I did what I thought was corrct, based on this, & other issues, which I have become aware of in the last week.

Kev was a friend of mine, too. I wish him well in the future, & hope he gets his life back together.

Knowing that it was going to get around to many people but not all if they didn't comment meant that a further statement would have been better from the beginning. It would have cut out people jumping to conclusions. I respect the decison that they made but it does worry me that there is a suggestion that people have access to other people's PM's and can use them at their will.
