TV Sender Units

Just moved into a new place and we want TV in our bedroom, however there isnt an aerial port. We have a small TV (actual small, not Flushy small) that has freeview built in.

There is a spare aerial port downstairs. Can I plug a sender into this and the other part into my TV upstairs to get it working?

The alternative is to simply get one of those Sky TV sender jobbies, but I would prefer to be able to flick round.

Get an Ariel fed from the main TV to the bedroom IMO! Then a magic eye so you can watch sky in your room!

I have a digisender that sends the signal to a telly in the bedroom and one in the kitchen.

It doesn't send it in HD, but the picture is just as good as standard SD.

You can use the Sky remote upstairs to change the channel and whatever.  Works really well, and I tried the Philips one first (that was more expensive) and it was pretty crap.  The Digisender one works perfectly.  It can get interference from wi-fi devices (laptops or mobiles) if they're really close to the sender or receiver.

Missed a bit of your post.  You plug the Digisender into the scart socket.  It can be the same scart socket as Sky or whatever, as it does a piggy-back thing so it doesn't use up a scart socket.
