Great day today, woke up really early, was productive went outside, enjoyed the city.

Went to pick up a standing desk that I really love. Haven't sat down yet, but feet hurt a little, I guess I'll find something comfortable to stand on.

Came back and did a coaching with one of if not my favourite horse, super impressed with him, he has turned from a self obsessed average-very exploitable reg into an absolutely ****ing beast. I think he's probably top 5 mid stakes regs out there right now and my opinion is he will be high stakes crusher in next 6 months.

Anyway, session was really good, he did great and he learned a bunch too, always great to have those kind of sessions.

Finished the meeting and had great news, my paralyzed dog that I've had for 3 years (we found her before she could walk and she was hit by a car in Romania and was told by the doctor she wouldn't walk again) is going to go into surgery on Friday and has an OK chance of walking. She is probably the happiest paralyzed dog you can imagine, she loves life, but if she can run, or even stand on all four feet it will make her really happy, will definitely be using my one time for that.

First time she was found, scared and hiding

Sorry for the excess amount of photos, but very happy day for me. Like I said, one time.

Went into a business meeting for the first step in the new business I want to focus on that will be my first real big shot of diversification from Poker, it sounds really cliche what I'm going to do, but I think I'll make it work, even thinking of calling it bitB **** Smiley

Picture of what I had for lunch. Orange duck leg + breast, peas, rice, carrots and wok vegetables

Reviewing a bunch of hands now and putting 4 hours in the lab.

Super Tuesday etc on now but haven't had a even twitch to want to play.

Tomorrow we have a game for the football against my old team, still have a lot of friends there, so looking forward to that. I was supposed to play now I'm a lot fitter and able to play well but we have very big squad fit tomorrow so I'll just manage. Next year I'm going to play for sure though, really looking forward to that

If Carlsberg did Tuesdays.

As much as I love reading about your various poker exploits (despite 99% of it going over my head), that dog story/pics trumps anything that can happen on the felt.

Great stuff, and a very cute pooch.

Great story but can't help think if anyone is just looking at the pics it wasn't a happy ending for the dog.

Ha, that was my assumption.

Lovely story, too. Love a laggy dog story.

You mention you've put some studying in with the PIOSolver. I've had a look at this software and it looks really impressive but a tad expensive and memory hungry. How much has this software improved your game in terms of percentages? I would like to give it a go but is quite the outlay for a tool that might not be used.

Many Thanks

When someone you coach makes an incorrect remark (imo) online that puts your coaching in a positive light, would you bother to correct him, particularly if its just a sample size issue. (YugiohPro is the example im thinking of)

For example he brings up an increase in evbb/100 between sessions and mentions he had a coaching session with you. Relevance here is kinda low, it is impossible for him to know whether it has increased. I don't know whether I'm just becoming a very old and withered knob who just looks for technicalities or what. Like later on a few posts later he mentions he would have folded to a turn bet one of his friends didn't, and it won a big pot. It just tilts the life out of me.
