When I think of the best live players, I don't associate them with showing hands when they make good folds/bluffs etc. They seem to get the lot quietly without giving much away. Why did you show the QT? Is it a purely an ego thing, I am the bitb, or is there more to it that I'm missing? Genuinely interested. Is it important to you to be viewed as great by other pros? Moreso than to just to win all the money?

Which documentaries did you watch? I wonder if you could fold online too, people are so unbalanced here. Going to head somewhere sunny/beach post wcoop and pre CPP. Maybe South Africa, but more likely somewhere in South America I think. My only requirements are
somewhere I can scuba dive and somewhere I can play poker
. Do you have enough Spanish to get you by? Feels like it might be an issue if your out in the sticks somewhere. Good luck with week, stag do was absolutely incredible so I can't say I'm too upset but it would have been good to see some of the BITB horses again. Can't remember the rules to that card game we played all last year but I remember it was so much fun. Have you played it this year?
Costa Rica?
Not sure really, definitely fits the criteria. Little biased because I heard its expensive but its definitely recommended on the diving sites I've looked at too. Its taken me until now to realise Punta Cana (well Dominican Republic/Puerto Rico) itself might be a decent option and would save on flights! Probably should get this booked up pretty quick too. Just so many decisions.
I thought I had posted Costa Rica too, but it was sat not posted in another window.
Belize is likely cheaper and likely has dive sites that are at least as good. I have only been to Belize and the diving was fantastic circa 10 years ago. Not sure if you can play poker there, but no harm in going to both?

Philippines, loads of great dive places there, no spanish required or other language for that matter.
Few other places in Asia too if you aren't set on South America....

Finished the day with 750k, lost 8/9 all ins in the tournament, so really thrilled to still be alive. Really fun table draw tomorrow, one of my best friends on the same table and lots of other heroes. We play till the end tomorrow, $1m for first. LFG.
