Best one I ever came across was when I we were playing basketball aginats another school and the opposing team sheet came round with the name 'Duane Pipe' heading the list.  Cheesy

I just found this thread, and i am so late in doing this but here goes.

My dad idolised paul newman and he wanted me to be named Newman McAllister ( I know ) However My grandfather did manage to talk some sense in to him, When I was born he said i had the same colour of eyes of Paul Newman, so his nickname for me was Newmanseye.

Kinda soppy but thats where it comes from.
