had a half hour fish pedicure today. a truly strange experience but I now have really smooth feet. one fat fish was getting on my nerves as he kept nibbling me on a really ticklish spot but the others were ok
I sneaked my hand in as well when the woman wasn't looking, that was even stranger cos your fingers are much more sensitive

To be fair, you went dress and shoe shopping without him. Reckon he's devastated, poor guy.

I've been to the Happy Feet at meadowhall in sheffield
The novelty value was worth the tenner but I didn't notice that it actually did much. Then again I don't have manky feet so I don't think it was ever going to

I've got psoriasis, and I had read/heard the fish are amazing for my condition.
Went to the one in York, place absolutely stunk, totally disgusting smell.
And the fish did nothing to improve my skin.
Very disappointing.

Doctor Fish have been used to treat psoriasis for years, well before non sufferers discovered they were beneficial.
From wikipedia:
Doctor fish is the name given to two species of fish: Garra rufa and Cyprinion macrostomus. Other nicknames include nibble fish, kangal fish, and doctorfishen; in non-medical contexts, Garra rufa is called the reddish log sucker. They live and breed in the outdoor pools of some Turkish spas, where they feed on the skin of patients with psoriasis. The fish are like combfishes in that they only consume the affected and dead areas of the skin, leaving the healthy skin to grow, with the outdoor location of the treatment bringing beneficial effects. The spas are not meant as a curative treatment option, only as a temporary alleviation of symptoms, and patients usually revisit the spas every few months. Some patients have experienced complete cure of psoriasis after repeated treatments, but due to the unpredictable nature of the disease, which is strongly influenced by endogenous factors, this may simply be regression toward the mean.
