I flew home with Etihad Airways who apparently just won some award as the best airline of the year and I can see why. Everything was awesome - the touch screen TV's and selection of what they had to watch was really awesome. Very impressed and I'd be keen to fly with them again.

On my second flight, the captain was called Mack McCready. Smiley

We disowned him after the Boeing 757 incident with United Airlines.

I can't believe he's flying again.

This one went over my head. Sad

Glad to hear you are back safe and well, the time will soon pass and you will be returning again  Smiley

Cheers Taxi.

Are you coming to Blonde Bash this year?

Also, any plans in the pipeline for your next visit to the Phillipines? I so badly wanna plan a trip there.

My friend went recently to play poker in Cebu I believe and was surprised at the armed guards outside all the 7/11's.

Yesterday I got back home at 9am-ish after a 20/21 hour door-door journey. Chatted with my dad and uncle for a bit, and had a bath. Figured I'd go to bed and sleep for a few hours but I felt ok and played a little online. Had a swingy session - the biggest pot is below:

Never been to a country so wash with guns, just about every business in the bigger cities has an armed guard on the door, some of them really armed to the teeth. Cebu didn't feel especially unsafe but you deffo can't relax like in Thailand, always need to keep an eye out.

Was awesome seeing my little sister when she got home from school. She's not so little anymore though, blimey she's got tall!

She cried when she saw me too which was really sweet until I realised she's just gutted I'm back. Smiley

I then saw my mum when she got home and a cousin came round. We ate dinner and then one of my mates came round in the evening and we went for a drink with 2 other mates. After that, they forced me to go and play a cash game at their snooker club (no really, they did). They've been playing there and the game was apparently crazy but just think they wanted to see me play because they know im a 'professional' which apparently means I'm not able to lose and everyone should marvel at my magic on the felt.

10 hands in and I was 300bbs down, getting 100bbs in with AK pre vs 66. Losing A4dd vs A9o on A108dd for another 100bbs and losing another 200bbs with a hand I so conveniently forget to mention.

I wasn't worried as the game was pretty hilarious. People opening to 14 quid at a 25p50p game and an hour later I was back to even. The Vic's famous 'Uncle' was even in the game! WTFcopters.

Finished up 170 quid and both my mates won too - they were pretty happy with themselves.
