Including the rescheduled Royal Bond, The Drinmore and The Hilly Way to name but three of the races. I am eagerly awaiting the return of Mikael D'Haguenet and it's fencing bow. Oh and there's also The Hatton's Grace hurdle with the reappearance of Hurricane Fly, Solwhit and Donna's Palm.

The first two favourites look solid to me, both are around evens and look worth a small bet. 11.50am. Toner Doudaries 12.20pm. Zaidpour

The bookies seem to be on the retreat after the first race.
I've missed the price on Zaidpour, I think it will win but not laying 4/7.

Hurricane Fly has long been one of my favourites which is surprising as I've never won a penny on it. I will back it to win the Champion Hurdle if it gets to Cheltenham fit and healthy and conditions suit.
I backed it for the Champion 2 years ago at 16s. It didn't run and Go Native won which it had previously beaten well.
If Hurricane Fly gets to the race it will take a lot of stopping, I'm not sure Menorah, Binocular and Peddlers Cross will have the pace to match. I was very impressed with the run today but i would not get on ante post without NRNB in light of the horses constant injury worries.
In other news, i'm a big Michael D'Haguenet fan and i was stunned to see it fall at the last today as its jumping is usually foot perfect and he skips over them. Winning form at Cheltenham but i think i would have to carefully watch the horses next run before i got involved for the RSA Chase at 8/1.
I thought one horse that ran very well today without winning was JY Vole. 12/1 for the Ryanair will warrant interest with progression also taking into account its 3rd place in the same race last year.

You sacrifice a point + but you can get 4-1 NR NB on him with Laddies.

True 4-1 is ridic, as is the 7-2 on Menorah. It looks like a very good year for the hurdle.

Yeah I'm a big fan also, speed to burn although imo the champion often goes to a horse that stays the best (sounds odd for 2mile hurdle I know) but they go so fast from the off, beating solwhit over 2m4 can only be a positive in that regard though.. Like you wouldn't think of getting involved anrepost

That's very sad indeed. Very talented and quirky horse..bit of character and almost always underestimated. Was just in the process of proving every doubter wrong again. Gutted for connections.
