This is great news, hope it works out well for both parties.

I can vouch for the softness of the Omaha Hi-low cash when tikay is playing, pretty easy money tbh Smiley

Shush, Plumpy.

PS - Well done on winning tonight's Main Event. How much you bink?

TYTY, 1.6K plus some change and OFC that means nothing, it was all about keeping my 100% record v you in the LL Grin

Got to be really nosey and ask as I am a great lover of the live updates, are Sky providing funding for furture updates? if so kudos to them.

Not currently. A few reasons for this

Sky have their own forum, on which updates of their tour events (by me) and GUKPTs (tikay and team) for their Team players take place.

This is also a "trial" sponsorship. I hope it will be successful and see reasons why it will be. If it is then it can broaden to other areas.

Live updates are a big priority for me to sort. Would be a big miss off the site and it appears, from the lack of contact, that DTD don't wish them to continue on blonde. So, in the absence of any money to do them elsewhere I am going to have to volunteer to do a few, get benefactors to rally round to fund a few and speak to some other venues to keep them going. This can then be increased if we are earning a few bob.

Hasn't been discussed but I think not. Remember Sky has its own forum, and the aim here is not to send a load of Sky posters onto here and damage their place. So we'll keep promotion of Sky on blonde, for our members and fly under the Sky forum radar

Well done all at blonde/skypoker, this actually has the potential to be huge. Was never a big fan of the sodtware but the recent changes have been really good. Been fortunate enough to have played one of their live events and was muchly impressed with how it was run.

Strange that I have recently played a coupla tourneys there over the last week.Count me in guys. Would love to see a permanent blonde league/tourney there.

Got to be really nosey and ask as I am a great lover of the live updates, are Sky providing funding for furture updates? if so kudos to them.

Best of luck with this

Geo

Geo,

In addition to the answer Tighty has already given you as to Live Updates, it may - MAY - be possible to have a Live Update from the Manchester GUKPT, though that wil be subject to a lot of "permissions".

I say that because Sky Poker have something called "Team Sky Poker" (TSP), a sort of "sponsorship", & all 5 of the existing TSP Members (3 more will join next Sunday) will be playing the Manchester GUKPT at the end of January. The 3 new players MAY also be playing it, so Sky Poker will have between 5 & 8 players there playing the £1,070 Main Event. So a Live Update is not wholly out of the question.....
