Burning question of the day. I was initially going to ask you which of the following three you would choose to give up if you had to never have one of them again for the rest of your life, but realised that thinking about that would probably be deeply traumatic for you.
So, instead, you have 551 points.......
Nando's
Scottish Chippy
Kebab Shop
Easy imo
Nando's 1
Scottish Chippy 499
Kebab Shop 1

The weekend in Glasgow was quiet, but very enjoyable. Arrived Thursday lunchtime & FettCabs picked me up, and we went to Paisley for lunch. He only got a little bit lost this time, so that was good. I had a blackpudding & chips, as I hadn't had one for 24 days or so. Not that I was counting obviously. He dropped me at my relatives place and off he went, in his ridic union jack shorts.
Headed in to the City Centre to meet Joe, and was supposed to meet Bandit in some Irish pub, as it was St Patricks day, he hadn't accounted for it being packed, so we went elsewhere and bandit reluctantly joined us.
Quick drink and we headed to Nando's, and Fett joined us. Bandit, for some strange reason decided he wasn't eating, must be ill. Fett left to go and watch Rangers crush PSV
and we headed to the Mint for the £40 comp. I managed to last just after the 1st level.
Played some pool and then some daft poker games. Bandit said it was his worst St Patricks day ever, so that made the night for me. Lost HU4Sigrights to Fett, mainly thanks to bandit messing about with the flop as he was getting bored, no excuses tho, and fett can now put whatever he wants, within reason, on my signature for a week. That week started yesterday, so he has lost two days already!

Friday, eventually met up with Bandit in th afternoon, and we watched the Gold up in Bairds, a bit of a Celtic pub, which explains why Fett didn't want to meet up with us I suppose.
On the Thursday night, I was gonna put some money on black, I never play roulette, It's for mugs imo, but sure enough, black came in. Money lost, or money saved? Just before the race, I was gonna stick £20 on the horse that won, but didn't. More money lost?
We left there and headed into the City Centre for something to eat and meet Joe, Bandit wanted to have a punt on the horses, and, given my two near wins, I decided that I was obviously being told to start backing these feelings. Backed a horse, lost, played some roulette on a machine, lost, played some more roulette, lost and then had some money each way on a horse, for no other reason than it's name, and lost!! Well played me. That's my once every 15 year punt over. It's a mugs game.
Bandit headed home, lol, he has a girlfriend, and I think she demanded to see him, me & Joe headed to the Alea, Went fairly deep, but got caught shoving once too often and went out with about 20 left. Couldn't get on a cash game, so went home. Got home, and remembered Joe doesn't drive, and I didnt offer him a lift! Felt bad, It's just a habit of mine, just to go, without thinking about people getting home etc, assuming that everyone drives.

Saturday, I headed over to Celtic Park, been meaning to do one of their tours for a while, but never seem to get there at the right time, Saturday was no exception. On the way I stopped at East End Diner for some breakfast, It's next door to Scotlands Best Car Wash, named 'Foam & Away' Made me laugh.
After a wonder round the Celtic shop, I walked over to the main entrance, where there was a crowd of about 200 people, waiting to see the Celtic team leave for their Hotel to Prepare for the cup final.
Left there, and headed over to watch Partick Thistle v Cowdenbeath at Firhill. I haven't been there for 30 years or so, and I hope it's another 30 before I go back. I left after 75 minutes. The pitch was like a beach, and Cowdenbeath, nicknamed, the blue brazil, were nothing like a football team, punt it up the field and hope for the best, It worked though, and they won 1-0.
Felt a bit sorry for Thistle, they tried to play football, but was almost impossible on that surface. They share it with Glasgow Warriors Rugby team, and the state of the pitch confirmed that. Needs must and all that, but you have to feel sorry for their fans. They seem to have high expectations of their team, but it's never going to happen on a pitch like that. Took some pics, and will post them, and the other ones from the last time I was up, just got to work out how to do it.

Oh, and just remembered, someone swore at me, and said It was a fucking disgusting call (4k into a 7k+ pot with 8 5 of Parsley) from my 30k stack. He had AQ, first card was the Q, and he was drawing dead on the turn. He did a Sicilian style flounce away from the table. I blame the dealer
Met James 'Jambo' Gray too, was on a table with him for about 30 minutes before I remembered where I recognised him. Seemed a nice guy for a Hearts fan..

The funny thing about playing in Glasgow, Is that, everyone is an expert, and also a commentator. It's great fun, because, they don't know I am there, just for a night out, to have fun. They also generally don't have any idea about pot odds and stack sizes. Also, if you raise with hands that aren't pairs or A 10+, then they don't understand why you would do this.
I don't think I will be getting any chrimbo cards from them, that's for sure, except Mr Kumar maybe, he likes the way I played.

Sunday was Cup Final day, picked Bandit & his Cousin up and headed for Hampden early.
Dropped them there, and I headed off to surprise my Auntie, she sure was in lol.
Headed back to Hampden to get Bandit, and we went to the game.
Without being results orientated, I didn't enjoy the game. The atmosphere created by the Celtic fans, wasn't as good as it should have been. There is a section of fans, called the Green Brigade, that seem to sing constantly through the game, I think this makes the rest of the fans not bother, I dunno. Seemed a bit flat anyways.
We didn't play well, and the pitch was a disgrace, but overall, Rangers deserved to win.
After the game, we headed to a pub on the South Side called Hurdy Gurdy, had a quick drink and headed to the Alea. Upset some more locals and exited the comp. Knocked bandit out before that though, which was nice.
