Spent the week working, running my dad around, and a bit of poker. Tuesday I took him to the solicitor's, so he could sign his will. Horrible, but neccesary thing to do, obv I get a share, but I had to decide there and then who I would like that share to go to if I die before my dad. Bizarre.
Went to Luton tuesday night for the £30 comp, didn't really want to go, but Tikay kept texting me, saying it would be fun etc, so I buckled, and went. Only got slowrolled twice in the first two levels. My favourite one was, a guy who had 3 bet pre, i shhoved, as did the BB, original raiser folds, and he sigh calls, saying he must be in bad shape. Then flips aces. Cock.
Chatted to Tikay for a while, whilst he crushed his table, then headed down the M1 to home, thinking how much I hate him for making me go.

Couple of seasons ago the situation was reversed, Celtic were ahead but Rangers could overtake by winning their games in hand late in the season. Now that you're on the other side of it, what would you prefer? Fate in your own hands with extra games to play or having the points in the bag already?

Avoided Peters since tuesday, which is no bad thing I suppose. The guy i spoke about earlier this month, who doesn't work due to a bad back, has managed to rip the tendons in his arm, whilst weight lifting at the gym, and done nothing but moan about how much it hurts, and how is he going to cope living on his own with his arm in plaster, then gave the story to everyone he knew that passed by. GFY. Thanks.
Went back to Luton on Thursday, enjoyed it a lot for once, me and a reg, Del, decided to straddle and re-straddle in the tourney, which meant one of the straddles was always live when it got back round to us, it put the whole table out of their comfort zone, and I was up to 60k at 300-600. Unfortunately I then decided to play properly and got knocked out when, down to 10 bigs, i shoved blind on blind without looking, and ran into A8.

Think fate in your own hands has got to be better. Especially in the SPL, where other teams just lay down and die for Rangers.

Spent Friday avoiding the telly, and took my dad out to the shops. I still haven't seen any tv coverage or pictures of the wedding. Long may that continue.
Went to the G on Friday, and met Eso Kral for some dinner beforehand. He looks remarkably well for being a new father
You can tell he is incredibly proud to be a father by the way he speaks about Maxwell, and likewise with the way he talks about his wife. Nice to hear. He lost the imaginary flip and paid for dinner, I will no doubt lose the imaginary flip next time, and pay for the next one.
As we were walking into the card room, I said to him that I'm gonna give this comp my best shot, I need to, and he begged me to swap 10%, so i agreed, I mean, I know I'm not getting anything out of a swap, but sometimes you have to help the less talented than yourself, right?
Obv he donked out and I crushed, and by the time he was home, he had managed to secure his biggest cash of the year
I didn't really look back after flopping top set and getting it all on v an up & down straight draw and surviving with 30 left.
Glad to do a win, hoping to make it 2 in a row today.
Played patiently, and didn't just throw them in when things went wrong,

Excellent performance by the champions in waiting. Inverness is now a massive game on Tuesday night, we need everyone to stand up and be counted. After Motherwell lying down yesterday there was a lot of pressure on us today. So lets do a win.
How much did you do a win for, will it allow you to come home for a blackpudding supper at cup final weekend?
