Have u eaten any more healthy food m8?
Was disappointed with my total Black Pudding count for the weekend. The weekend was set up to realistically have 5 in total. Only managed 3 in the end, including, checking in for flight, getting a taxi to nearby Paisley, got the taxi to wait outside while i went in and ordered, got back in the taxi and went back to the airport, where I happily sat there and ate it. The taxi cost more than lunch, but it's OK, because Fett paid for it

Can someone please enligten me about the appeal of battered sausages?
Sausages = fantastic (obv)
Batter = gorgeous
Put them together = tez
I'm with you here Keith, I don't like them, they seem to be really greasy. And the taste of the two mixed together isn't great either.

Had a really great weekend. Thanks to the Glasgow boys, and the others who travelled through for the mini BB.
The pub we ended up in on Sunday night turned out to be good fun. I don't think it would be unfair to say that the crowd we ended up playing pool with were a mixture of heavy drinkers and druggies. Some specialised in both. But each to their own, you couldn't have met a friendlier bunch of guys, and they asked for nothing.
We left there and went to the Alea in Merchant City, met Bhoywonder and his much younger brother. Fett turned up too, Bandit gave him a small ribbing about the game, but was a lot quieter than I thought he would be. Fett seemed to get over Sunday's game and he ended up chopping the comp for a nice amount.
Me, Joe and bandit were out fairly early and bandit went home. Me & Joe stayed to decide who the West of Scotland Pool Champ 2011 & Unlimited Holdem Scottish Champion 2011 would be. It will be no surprise to you, that both were won by me.
Back to England then, I leave it too long between visits I think, won't be leaving it too long til I book again...

Went into a petrol station last night to buy a can of coke. After picking myself off the floor having seen the £1.29 price i decided to do with out.
Is this the same in other places such as kebab shops?
Have you stopped yourself buying an everyday product recently because of a stupid price?
£1.29. Ridic. I generally don't buy anything in Petrol Stations or Service Stations unless it's as a last resort. Peters Kebab shop charges 60p for a drink, which I think is fair.Probably fairly standard across the board.
Can't think of anything I have stopped myself buying. Feels like a trick question.
I do have a habit of complaining when food isn't right, sicilian thought it was funny when I complained in McDonalds that the chips weren't warm enough, he seems to think it's what you expect in somewhere like that. I disagree.

Picked up my new car tonight, and dropped off my Mum's back to the same garage. Happy, but sad at the same time.
Took my Dad with me to get him out. He didn't go to Malta in the end, for various reasons, but he has assured me he will go in March.
In other news, I have had man flu since wednesday night, got it just in time for going to Glasgow, typical. I'll be ok though. Don't worry.

Will update my poker figures later, haven't done for a bit, but i remember them all. Won't be playing much in the next few weeks. Am not really motivated to go to Luton at the moment. What's happened there recently has really annoyed me. Don't know why, it shouldn't, but it does. The management need their arse kicked.
Next tourney there for me will be the English Deepstack, I think I might win it actually. I have a feeling.
After that, I'm gonna win the Sky comp at Luton, but before that, I'm gonna win the Deepstack at Stanley's this weekend, if I go.

Same old stuff Pep, but it's getting worse. I hated people slagging Luton off on here, I knew it was true, but always tried to defend it. But recently, the numbers have dropped, George has taken over now, and this was a good chance to try something new, add some restricted guarantees etc. George then mentions to someone, some plans he MAY have, then someone goes and gets all the flyers/diary/website changed. As far as I can tell from what I have read on here, George wasn't aware this was happening.
Just annoys me. Daft, I know, but it has to change. At this rate, there won't be poker at the G in 6 months.
Did you watch the game on Sunday? Don't know how it sounded on the tele, but the atmosphere was superb. May add a little you tube clip, for those that might have missed it.

Pep! You not been to Luton for ages innit?
There's a high-brow diary to be found in the sports betting session when you're done with chat about battered sausages and battered black pudding.

Sounds about right then. Such a shame was such a busy place couple of years ago!! Can't believe how much the figures have dropped whilst reading your blog down to twenty odd on Sundays!!
Yeah saw the game on Sunday played well lovely 2nd goal crowd sounded rocking especially around the 75th minute. Sounds like you had good time up there.
